    Between his improved defense and his known 3 PT shooting, I think CJ could be the 3rd guard. I don't know if they will keep a guy around for that, but at this point, even though it is borderline that he is an NBA player, I think he could do it.

    What I learned.

    Cousins is better than I thought.
    Temple and Hill are not ready for the season to start.
    Anderson needs to buy a treadmill.
    Bonner still knows how to kill a lead.
    Neal and Penney both had their moments good and bad.
    Gist is going back to Europe.

    ahh i didnt get to see penney play.. but i saw him when i was at the att center during the open practice.. even tho he didnt make most of his shots.. i know this guy can shoot.. he better start drillin' them soon tho lol

    You have to keep in mind that with players like Gist, Neal, Simmons....they are limited. Which is why they are fringe players. Every team has them. Sometimes they look good, sometimes they look bad.

    That happens with your 12-15 players, on every team.
