Vikings... 17-2
Favre... Peterson... Moss... greatest QB/RB/WR triumvirate of all time?? yes.
I didn't think we needed a guard, Vasquez is playing pretty well and that other guy is one of the highest payed guards in football, though he hasn't been living up to his contract, maybe AJ plans to cut him. whatever...![]()
Tbh I like this trade but I don't LIKE this trade. Connolly is filling in extremely well for Mankins and as much as I'd like to see what Connolly at LG and Mankins at RG would look like it'll never happen, V-Jacks is overrated IMO but he's still a great receiver who would do more for a ball control offense than Moss did.
My concern is that he's one party away for a year long suspension, and he'll want money that the pats probably won't give him.
And one more thing, their asking price is too high
Yeah very true. My first choice is resign Mankins, move him to RG, make Neal a backup so his annual injury doesn't screw them over, and extend Connolly (imagine the kind of strong side running blocking on that line, Vollmer and Mankins with Connolly pulling over). Since there's no chance in of that happening, this trade is fine with me. They're not gonna get equal value for Mankins if they trade him, I can't imagine they do much better than V-Jacks.
Booth sides know they have no leverage because those players seem determined in their holdout. But the chargers asking price is too high. The third the pats got from the Moss Deal + Mankins is too much.
If it's straight up (Mankins for VJ), it seems fair to me.
I think the asking price is fair what the chargers are asking
they have all the leverage and no other team has a wide receiver they want to trade now
you want jackson for the playoffs
STEP UP YOU CHEAP GMS
I didn't know they were asking for that pick..... . New England has no reason to be the team that throws in the pick. As you said, it should be one malcontent holdout for another. San Diego was getting 3rd rounders by themselves offered for Jackson, that pick and a in pro bowl O-lineman is ridiculous.
The big plus if they got V-Jax and extended him would be that they wouldn't use a 1st rounder on a receiver, IMO those picks need to be on a 3-4 DE and a 3-4 OLB. I'd orgasm if they got Robert Quinn and Marcell Dareus.
You also think....
1) Sacks given up is an accurate gauge for run blocking
2) There are "bird rights" in baseball
3) Matt Leinart is a starting caliber NFL QB
4) Sarah Palin is a qualified presidential candidate
Looks like ducks is gonna have to turn around and see eye to eye with the olllllllllllllllllllllllll ball coach after det one!

tbh Vincent Jackson is good, but I'm not that sold on him. He's kind of a cuck.
Hey Greg you're a cuck who's always injured!![]()
what exactly does your version of "qualified" entail?![]()
Not being a dumb who names her kids like fig newton, or not being a dumb who flunked out of 3 different colleges. The list goes on, but then again, Chargerfan seems to be unified in stupidity in all areas relating/not related to football.
My guess would be that the trade goes through if a deal is completed by the pats, otherwise, thinking they can extend him at the end of the season would be foolish. He wants mad money, add on his off field issues, and you have on your hand a really risky investment. I personally don't see the pats trading for him if a deal with him is not in place.
Btw, did ducks really say that Palin is qualified to be president?
there are bird rights in baseball and Halladay's no hitter wasn't impressive.
Ducks is the greatest troll on this board
if ducks was an actual troll and not really that re ed, he is easily the greatest troll in the history of the internet.
