Man, Griffin has stolen the show. He looks great. I wonder if that jumper is consistent?

I just want to point out that LA's making a lot of tough shots. I wouldn't count on Rasual Butler hitting some of the shots he's made tonight, some were open, many were guarded well.
Yea if he stays healthy he's gonna be another Amare.
It's only halftime?! Jesus!
Well, as 'meh' as this pre-season has been, I couldn't be happier with the end to Bonners role as a starter.
Manu talked in Spanish about the zone defence and how they didn't have enough time to prepare it, and how it was a failure experiment.
:-) damn clips are hot ...
He looks better now than he did at this point last year. Hope he can stay healthy and we get a great season from him.
Blain and duncan lineup, working out prettty good. The clean that glass real well.
Ya, but knowing Pop stubbornness he is going to run it into the ground.
They are getting amazing looks because of the defense. These are NBA players and they will hit shots if you leave them open.
I hope in the last Spurs preseason game the Spurs actually try on defense. They need to have the mindset that they are going to be great. Right now, they continue to act like they can flip the switch.
I liked TD and Blair
Temple and Bonner were horrible
I don't know if Hill coming off the bench is a good idea
DeJuan, Tim, and James Anderson the only guys playing well tonight.
I get so sick of seeing an opposing team's player pull up for a 3 pointer and Tony is the closest one to him, but instead of running at the guy he simply keeps his feet planted and throws his upper body forward as the guy takes his shot. As if to say "Oh man, I was gonna contest that, but I just couldn't possibly have gotten to him. Did you guys see me almost move to guard him?"
+18 for the Clippers from three /ballgame so far
Waive Temple. If Bonner isn't making 3's go to the bench.
Spurs have an undersized PF and undersized Sg in Hill and Blair. I say move one, preferrably Hill and bring in a Sf. Just my thoughts. I thinK Anderson will fill in at backup Sg and spell Sf from time to time. I like Hill but I'd look to move him for a need
hill looks terrible
The defence so far was clearly an experiment. They played zone mainly when most bench players were on the court, it really isn't a good game to evaluate the Spurs defensive ability.
I'm more worried about the fact that the players who were suppose to be fighting for the backup small forward aren't getting any playing time, all the backup 3 was played by Anderson, not a good sign for Simmons and Gee.
It is painfully obvious that re-signing Bonner was a huge mistake. Even if he is insurance for a guy like Dice leaving next year, he should be no where near a team with le aspirations.
Can we stop the damn dunkfest yet?
on a side note, bob neal is providing us with perhaps one of the tiest play-by-play jobs we we can probably ever witness.
I think the Spurs are bothered by the smog.![]()
zone defense would be a nice tool in the shed. Suns had a lot of success against the lakers with it, unfortunately we suck at it. Our 3pt defense is pretty shoddy already unlike spurs teams of the past, zone only makes it worse.
They can't because of RJ. You can't give up a rotational player like Hill or Blair for a SF because there is not enough minutes behind RJ to justify it.
