Wow, really...you do realize its preseason and I gurantee you I can find a better NBA veteran shooter who is much worse..

Those were the things he was starting to do at the end of summer league. If he's not being a chucker, he's a really really good player. Looks like maybe somebody's managed to get through to him how good he can be.
Sweet win. It was pre-season Clippers but this team seemed to show a TON of potential out there. Kinda excited.
And Temple was my little pet bubble-guy but I want to see more Curtis Jerrels. If CJ can consistently come in and contribute plays and not turn the ball over, I could see him being our backup. I imagine he will get ample playing time next game. Temple needs to step up before he loses his spot.
Well that's a ringing endorsement of the guy if I ever saw one. You know a guy has arrived when someone brings up the "I could find someone shooting worse" defense.![]()
CJ has also hit the 3 pointer consistently and played solid d. He might not run an offense the smoothest, but his effort and 3 point shooting have been solid.
its going to be intersting who gets cut so many of the scrubs show flashes and at times look real bad...
Neal running train on the clips now, lol.
Temple looks pretty ing bad. I know what he did last year but he looks nothing like that so far. I really don't understand what's going on with Gee.
Perimeter D. The wide open 3 were far between for the Clips in the second half. I thought CJ and Hill were closing out pretty well.
What I find odd (or maybe we just take this too serious) is that no reporter has asked why Gee has not played. He is essentially the only guy to not get minutes. Even if you are not in tune with the team, and simply looked at the box, that would stand out.
Its a ringing endorsement when you try and dog a guy for shooting 6 for 17 in 3 preseason games in his 1st year in the NBA..forgot to add![]()
I actually thought he run the offense great with TD and Bonner out there. Made the right decisions and played the pick and roll great with DeJuan at the end.
TBH, I even think he ran the offense better than Hill tonight.
I just meant overall, not in tonight's game in particular.
That was the first dunk... I still remember that![]()
Yeah, if healthy, you will see a lot of people pulling a Manu when Blake comes down the lane.
WTf did i just see.
That commercial is horrible.
BTW, I thought Blake was spent for most of the last quarter... He really needs to get back in game shape.
I've been wondering the same thing...it seems a little odd that he's so glued to the bench...
Well, "he's a shooter". Dude. Sorry for judging him on, I don't know, his shooting percentage?![]()
Glad he looks recovered from his injury. I hope he has a long healthy career.
Boy there were both pretty bad.
Even though Neal hit a clutch shot to win the game, I still don't know if he's worth burning a roster spot for - especially now that Pop has announced they're only going to carry no more than 14.
But HH is correct. The Spurs so desperately need 3 PT shooters, and they have such little options, that one of, if not both of Neal & Simmons almost has to be kept.
Aren't they paying him whether he's here or not? That means he's taking someone's roster spot no matter what.
