This is a question for DFW area residents, has there ever been a time where the Rangers were the best team in the area? I would say no.

Probably not. The closest would be 1998 and 1999, when they were the 2nd best team in DFW. The Stars were #1 at the time however. The Cowboys were on the way down and the Mavs...well they were still the 90s Mavs.

Right now, you could probably say the Rangers are the best team in the DFW area. The Stars are rebuilding, the Mavs are mediocre, and the Cowboys are sucking. Cliff Lee needs to drink some V. He would probably throw a perfect game if he was on V.

you Tampa! Man I am thrilled to see those s eliminated. What is even better news is those bas s are going to suck next year due to trimming the payroll $20 million or so. Thank god I dont have to root for the Yanks in the alcs two years in a row. Go Rangers and go Phillies!!!!

I'm a Ranger fan but it seems as if they're a likeable team. If the Rangers lost they would be the team I'd like to see win it all
