there should be 2 mvp's in that case.

And also the coveted "America used to like me but now thinks I'm a " award. aka the Richard Nixon Trophy. Its not given every year, only when a national figure really s his own up.

Probably not 2 more MVPs. Its possible, but he'll be getting the "but he has so much help" line from alot of the voters now. I'd put money on 1, and you do give him 5 years to do it so its not a huge stretch, but it'll be alot harder than when he was the clear-cut "man" on his team.

Since the MVP voting system is so screwed up and biased i feel that in that stretch the heat will win 65+ games and Stern (because of there success and homerism towards lebron, ratings etc) will give Lebron the award at least 2 more times in that span. Voters will vote for him, and dont be suprised if he puts up numbers close to 27 10 and 8. He is going to be playing a lot of minutes and his stats will probably be inflated due to it.

I think he has a real shot at being the second guy to ever average a triple double for an entire season. He's already pretty close, and with this Heat team there are 1.) Much better players to throw passes too, and 2.) A lack of rebounding in some of their lineups which creates an opportunity for boards. Plus he's always talked about how much he likes passing. Idk that he'll have 27 ppg in this hypothetical season though.

If he does that, its a guaranteed MVP.

Miami's would be just as empty if Dallas had an ounce of gumption.

Yeah i see that happening too. When i brought up the idea to my cousins, they just laughed at me lol. But he can rebound, pass and score. Maybe if he rebounds well and the heat become one of the better defensive teams, then he has a legitimate shot at winning a DPOY too. Maybe not both in the same season, but one or the other at least.

So, in other words his career is pretty much like Barkley's. At least Chuck can boast of winning a game in the finals.
The difference is that Lebron James is on the best team of his career and is 26-years-old to Barkley retiring at 36. Give James another ten years. Barkley was 3 years older than Lebron when he won his only two Finals games. In terms of scoring, James has a better average in all but one season that would best Barkley's second-best year. He has double the amount of MVPs, he has won 4 more games in a regular season than Barkley. I don't think it's a great comparison.

Name me MVP candidates that Lebron James has played with in his career. Name me top-five at their position players that James has played with. His best years and his best team is infront of him. Let's see what he does with it.

Mo Williams is the best teammate that he's played with. Shaquille O'Neal is Kobe's best teammate. Pau Gasol is ten times better than anyone who has suited up with Lebron.

I disagree Darrin. Before Pau was a Laker, he was best known as going 0-12 in the playoffs. He wasn't even a top 10 PF - until now. It must be a testament to Kobe actually making his teammates better that you and many other NBA fans have such a high regard for him. I agree, Pau is really good, but the teammates that LeHype had on his team came with bigger "names" than Gasol (i.e. Shaq, Jamison). Difference is Kobe knew how to make him better. Can't say the same for LeHype.
