hopefully they have highlights of this game on nba.com, .

i wanna see more of Anderson's and Neal's stroke. i also wanna see more of Anderson's defense.

looks like Anderson can shoot, which is great and expected. if Neal can be an Eddie House type player, where he can come in and light it up, he'd be great. for whatever reason the Spurs historically but esp over the last couple of years have gone one some serious scoring droughts in games. if forget which game but last year against Dallas in the playoffs they went on a huge drought and then they had an even worse one against Pheonix in game 3 i think. i think the plan for Mason was to be that guy when he came to the Spurs. he did a great job of that at first (and we were looking damn good btw), but then he sucked and the Spurs lacked enough offense. basically, the value of someone that's able to hit open shots cannot be overestimated.

but back to Anderson... if he can be Jaredy Dudley type player for the Spurs, it'd be awesome. Dudley isn't an elite defender on the level of Battier or Ariza but he makes superstars work. obviously, he has a higher offensive potential than Dudley.

Alonzo Gee, SG/SF, who played for the Toros for a couple of years, exploded there; even had some good games with the Wizards last season; played for the Spurs summer league team, played well there as well.

He is like RJ in that he is more of a attacking player then he is a shooter, but has good percentages from 3.

That is the weird thing, most thought he would get some decent minutes during the preseason

no i honestly just think Mason is a ty basketball player (relative to the NBA of course). remember, he had one good season of shooting before he came to SA. that's it. he was by no means an established shooter in this league before that one good season he had with Washington.

i went to a Spurs game last year and saw him warming up... he sucks he dribbled the ball of his leg and the the ballboy had to get it for him. ballboys are supposed to rebound for your ass. dude sucks.

yea i guess he did suck. at first with parker and gino out, mase looked clutch. he was among the top 3pt shooters that year and even attended the 3pt contest that year.
