Dogs are gross. While cats may have a litterbox, dogs will eat from said litterbox. Dogs are one of very few mammals that will eat feces.

Dogs are dumb. I can train a cat in 5 minutes away from destructive behavior with a water gun. A er spaniel will still pee itself anytime it gets excited even after years of training.

Dogs are high maintenance. i can leave a cat home over the weekend and come home just fine. A dog will be half starved and have destroyed my home.

After years of trying to appreciate dogs I no longer can tolerate them.

    Viva le chat!!!

    This?

Greg, how come you don't like cats?
    I don't not like cats.
I-l just-- I just prefer dogs.
I mean, I'm just more of a dog kind of, you know--
Come home, wagging their little tails, happy to see you kind of--
You need that assurance? You prefer an emotionally shallow animal?
    I--
You see, Greg, when you yell at a dog,
his tail will go between his legs and cover his genitals, his ears will go down.
A dog is very easy to break, but cats make you work for their affection.
    - They don't sell out the way dogs do. - Huh.

I like cats. But rather have a dog try to protect me than a cat. I seen a cat hiss but thats about it. Dogs will go to the grave for their masters. Dogs are just more loyal from my experience.

Cats don't give a about you. They only really come to you when they are hungry.

Dogs are social creatures, like humans.

Cats are solitary creatures, who are just primal and instinctual.

Plus, you can never fully trust a cat. It WILL scratch your if you do something it doesn't like. I owned cats and dogs before, and dogs are better.

All of the people ting on cats would all over a dog personality poster. Dogs are good working animals, but they are whipped. You have to figure a cat out, like you have to figure out a person. That's just a bit too much trouble for some of you borderline asocial types.
