I think Eminem is hands down better than Wayne, but my roommate is ignorant as , as this is what he posted on fb:
"WHAAT EMINEM GOT #1 MC OF THA 21st CENTURY! I DISAGREE Wayne shulda got tha all those ppl at that table needa go have a suicide party."
He thinks Wayne is better because "Eminem just raps about his life and how crazy he is"......What is your opinion?

I can't stand Lil Wayne, he is the definition of fake. He can't rap for and half of the stuff he says doesn't make any sense. Anyone who thinks he's a decent rapper doesn't know about rap. that little
lil wayne is one of the worst rappers out there right now, eminem's new music blows too but at least he isn't making songs about lollipops

No offense, but this is a stupid argument..you could say the same thing about a black guy saying Lil Wayne is the best. Em is more lyrical, and can rap about anything...Em may not be on the level he used to be, but he's still better than Wayne..

I think when wayne gets out he'll make better songs cuz he's sober in jail while writin lyrics. I liked his lyrics for light up remix from rikers island kinda sounded like young weezy.

I'm not a smart man, and too old-school when it comes to these two peoples (and I know this thread was created to make fun of the Vanilla Ice v MC Hammer-types) but color me re ed . . .
In all seriousness, Em at least comes across as genuine. I'm a blues/metalhead (think Down's Nola and you know what I dig) but I can feel Em's lyrics and vibe much more than Weezy's. People seem to love to rag on Em because he's "the white guy" and they just don't feel comfortable with giving him respect because he's "the white guy" (the Vanilla Ice effect), but the dude's legit. He does and goes places others wouldn't dare to, which is why he was able to overcome his whiteness.
I got respect for Em. Like most that succeed in any genre, he's blues-based. I can dig that.
Troll thread or not, Eminem is easily better than Wayne.
I really don't understand the obsession with Wayne honestly. I think a few of Wayne's songs are catchy, but it really is no contest when taking into consideration Eminem's earlier stuff.
