Except the Yankees don't give a . You could see in game 1 in the 7th the Rangers were so giddy they just wanted to get the game over, nervous. Yankees had the same face they had in the 1st, 7th, and 9th they had all game. Yankees know they can win as long as they have an inning no matter what the score is.
true, but at the same time, 15 out of 18 innings of this series, the Yankees have been getting curbstomped. They got a win out of those 3 good innings, but still.

Rangers need a win tonight with Lee on the mound. If Rangers lose tonight than they lose the series IMO.

The line had the Rangers giving up a point and a half. I couldn't understand why the Yankees wouldn't be favored in NY... I can see why now.
Cliff Lee is such a boss. The Yankees and their fans/media were crying about the rosin he puts on his cap (which is legal obviously). So then he decides to intentionally smother it in rosin even more than usual as a big you.....and then has a no-hitter through 4 at Yankee Stadium
Cliff Lee might be the best playoff pitcher I've seen in the last 10 years. Maybe longer.
If the Rangers go on to win the World Series the Mariners GM deserves a ring in my book.
The Rangers need a complete game from Lee here. You don't want to turn it over to your pen in Yankee Stadium. Lee is dealing. I just wish I knew what his pitch count is.

Nice pitching by Lee there after the leadoff man for the Yanks got on base with a single.
Lee needs to throw more 1st pitch strikes....his pitch count is getting up there and he really needs to go 2 more innings unless the Rangers get a couple more runs on the board

What a game. It has been over since the 1st. Texas up 2-1. the yanks. Glad to see those s back to 2002-2008 mode. Lee is just owning them.
