that's just stupid. totally different players.
I'd say he's the white John Stockton
To his credit, the guy ed all over the Kobe and Phil Jackson's Lakers, turning a series around and handing them an humiliating first round exit, which prompted Kobe's oft-forgotten trade demands (lol Clippers) and phony parking lot video.
He also cemented his reputation by skunking the Spurs in the second round one day after his 54th birthday.
Plus he has one more NBA MVP trophy than his black counterpart.
Heck, even Channing Frye, basketball-connoseur, readily admits his status:
Video: Who is the White Mamba?

What's funny is the actual "black mamba" snake is white.
Quite possibly the most underrated superstar of all-time. He always gets knocked for his defense, but point guards are typically mediocre defenders anyway.
And he totally deserved his '06 MVP, even besting the guy (Kobe) who some (Laker homers) thought rightfully deserved it head-to-head in the playoffs.
I actually think it was DoK who dispelled the claim that Nash's supporting cast was head-and-shoulders better than Kobe's. When you compare the two rosters piece-by-piece, leaving Amare out, Nash's supporting cast wasn't that much better.
Exactly, and LakerFan doesn't even take into account that Nash made those guys better. Can't say the same thing about Kobe who was too busy trying to score 50 every game.
We all know how Shawn Marion's faring without Nash. Same thing with Boris Diaw. Is he even in the league anymore?
The "black" description in its name refers to the color of the ink black mouth it opens and displays when threatened.
Though Nash quit on Porter and got him fired.
+1
Nash is absolutely amazing. And if he goes out and has another monster year, it will completely prove the people saying "he lived off of Marion and Amare" wrong.
Nash is a failure. He's never rung.
Tbh, Diaw sucked after the 2006 season with or without Nash. Marion, Bell, Barbosa, and Tim Thomas all became/will become irrelevant due to not playing with Nash anymore, but Diaw was a good player on his own when he wanted to be.
If Kobe deserved MVP in 2006, then Lebron deserved it in 2008, when he averaged more points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals than Kobe while shooting a higher %. The thing is just like Kobe in 2006, giving the MVP to someone on a 45 win team would look stupid. Lebron didn't deserve it in 2008 and Kobe didn't deserve it in 2006, even if it was merely due to the bad luck of having a ty supporting cast. If Kobe won MVP in 2006 he woulda been the first MVP on a sub-50 win team since Moses Malone in 1982, when he averaged 2 more rebounds per game than anyone else while averaging 31 PPG.
thats why the MVP system is all bull .
kobe was lights out in '06
you can't say he wasn't, oh no no
Lebron was lights out in 2008
If Bryant can get a red assin' at 6-24 & ringin' this ringless sucker Nash is gonna get worse.
This I vow.
