whottt was a huge Rangers fan and a bigger Nolan Ryan fan. I thought he was crazy when he said Nolan Ryan could turn the Rangers into a winner. Too bad he's not here to see this.

    Fvkcing sad.

This seems like a baseball analogue to the Jordan Bulls meeting the Magic Johnson Lakers in that first of Jordan's NBA Finals.

Think about it....you have bad ass superstar MVP-level youngins on this upstart team that finally got the monkey off their back (Detroit) coming into a series against a team that had rings up the ass, les left and right, and true Veterans that had so much experience you could not imagine them losing. And while early on the series was in doubt, when it was over you looked back and realized the young team totally destroyed the veteran team.

It's like the baseball version of that series.

The city of Dallas is a breeding ground for losers.
...so the Rangers go from "LOL Dallas Chokers!" to "the Jordan Bulls of baseball".

CBF doesn't wanna go to the sidelines and talk to the olllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll ball coach

    Man, that was ing exciting.

in' Hambone's got me tearin' up. I can't imagine being a fan that's been through it all these years. I started watching the Spurs Dave's MVP season, so I only had to wait 5 years or so for them to get over the hump.

Enjoy it, fellas. Chug a few 4Lokos for me, regulatin' crew.

On a serious note, it must suck to celebrate going to the world series with ginger ale. If there's any reason for Josh to fall off the wagon and get crunk, it's going to the world series. Washington should bust out a fat line on the dugout railing too.

I think there are some parallels between the series themselves.
Lakers even won game 1 of that series and everyone was like awww here we go.

Never said Rangers were bulls of baseball.
    Try to read.

Falling off the wagon will affect the world series performance, so if you're going to fall off the wagon do it when you win the WS cause you havfe an entire offseason to recover

I've been waiting for this since I was 12 years old. I won't say how many years ago that was, but it's been a loooong time. It's finally happened. The Rangers not only won a series against the team with the most wins in the AL, then they curbstomped the defending champs. They had the hardest road to the Series, bar none. They earned this.

Congrats to my fellow fans. I lvoe you all tonight, even if I change my mind on some of you tomorrow.
