Found this on a CNN article:
"Ashley Judd traveled to eastern Congo, her second time to the region, with John Prendergast of the Enough Project at the Center for American Progress. "
That guy??
I'm glad a few of you guys say the Blazer annoucers are bad because I used to live in Oregon and completely agree. They're HUGE homers and think they have the best team every year. I know it's their job to report on the Blazers but lets be real. The only thing they do is give their fans false hope.
Pendegraph was good at ASU but not dominate. He also had Hardin on his team and they weren't the best team in a terrible PAC-10.
I can't wait for the 1st meeting between Portland and San Antonio
They have really built some hype![]()

Nothing really to laugh at here.
We breathe air, eat food, drink water, reproduce and the Blazers fail. Anything else would go against the natural order of things.
Tlong cares
lol, just started listening to hour 2 of that show.
The hilarity continued.
The broadcasters have an interview with Pendergraph, where this time they whine to Pendergraph himself about Splitter and Favors being ranked ahead of him. Pendergraph didn't even know who Splitter was. One host then asked him that "does that make your blood boil and want to kill somebody? Especially these two guys, Splitter!?"
Pendergraph jokingly responds that he wants to beat up a lot of people, then hits on the real reason he's not ranked higher than those guys . . . "Politics". Magazine writers didn't personally know Pendergraph and they only cared about names and popularity.
Followed by him referring to Splitter and Favors with the question "What have you done? you haven't proven anything." And then Pendergraph boasted that he, the unrated guy, would be smacking them around.
Awesome.
He was the real deal!![]()
these the same guys who missed on jordan and durant because they found "better" players?
They must be doing a payoff or some sort of injury settlement. He hurt his knee.
If he was any good they would have let him sit out the season and come back next year. Especially since they already cleared up a roster spot by sending Bayless out.
Not that you ever said he was good. Just clarifying.
I get what you're saying. I'm not sure how it works in the NBA, but I know in the NFL, you can't release an injured player, even if their contract is non-guaranteed.
Look's like he's out for the season.

lol, Portland writers.
He did look pretty good the two or three times I saw him play. Spurs can pick him up and use him as the 'McDyess replacement' next year. Not gonna happen, but it would be a great 'screw you too' to the Blazers if it did and he panned out for us.![]()
Yup, just waived!
Looking forward to Teego dropping a 12/8/2 on those announcers when he visits Portland.
They may have been right, guy seems to have a lot more moves.
