Let's hold off until AFTER the KS game.
The joke-race could still be up for grabs...
Texas Longhorns suck ass this year.
We a bigger joke of a team than Aggie right now.

UT can still compete with anybody on any given day. Despite the suckage they have a lot of defensive players that will play on sundays. Just depends if they decide to show up or not.
Defense only seems to play with juice when the entire Mack Brown Legacy is on the line.
Sad thing is, I believe Nebraska will lose probably 3 more games this season, including an inevitable asswhooping by the hands of Oklahoma in the big12 game. When the season is over Nebraska will be looked upon as a one trick pony, horribly overated team, and Texas was just the least ty of two ty teams that day. Just like the Texas-Texas Tech game.
Gilbert can't hit the broad side of a barn
Actually I saw a lot of dropped passes. Definitely wasn't just Gilbert's fault.
he could have easily thrown 8 picks, but the defense blew too
Holding my breath.. If we lose to Kansas..![]()
On the plus side tickets should be really cheap now........
They were already giving away tickets to this Iowa State game for 19 bucks!
not gonna lie, gilbert looked like a coked up lab rat out there. he did not look comfortable at all: scrambling every play, throwing on the run, passes going right at the receiver/corner without any air time, passes thrown into the ground halfway to the target. he wasnt the only one. nobody looked comfortable out there, and it seemed like they were there just to get the game over with.
btw, i was really pissed when iowa state fans started cheering ISU when Texas had a player down.
Yeah theres no class in sports these days.
What was the turnout like? I heard there were huge holes of open seats and the majority of students didn't show up til after halftime
estimated turnout was about 100K, so there were still a good amount of people there. alot of students didnt go though because we just came off parents week so several of them went home for the weekend.
lol mack brown blaming his coaches and team and taking no responsibility himself during the post-game press conference
mack brown is the greatest bureaucratic coach in the league. machiavelli would be proud.

I agree. Texas sucks this year. Lol OU
Kinda like texas fans starting a "texas fight" cheer when one of the Aggie players was down during last year's thanksgiving game, right?![]()
Well the Baylor game couldn't come at a better time for UT. If history is any indicator, this is where Texas plays to their talent level and Baylor can't match it. Add to that Baylor's being ranked for the first time in years and you have a formula for a blowout. I'm determined to enjoy this week because it likely won't last.![]()
A blowout loss to Baylor might be cathartic. Belmont could give some thought to certain coaching changes if this embarassment continues.
That might be true, but speaking as a Baylor fan, I was predicting the normal Baylor kind of blowout. What usually happens is the game is close for a while and then UT runs away with it and wins by about 30.
It would be clarifying, yes.
OTOH, if we win, we'll be forced to witness the ongoing collective agony of being unsure whether our team is crap or not. In that respect, an emphatic loss to Baylor would be clarifying.
No way.
Belmont Hall already understands Mack Brown is only grooming people for their anticipated roles next year at this stage of things, and approves.
(Perhaps a series of inexplicable letdowns and catastrophes on the field leading to a equally gruesome series of blowout losses, could propel serious rumors of the end of the Mack Brown era.
Short of that, the end of the Mack Brown era appears to be safely in Mack Brown's hands, from where I sit, but maybe my scuttlebutt ain't the latest.)
