Oberto, Mason, Bogans, Kurt Thomas all have been picked up as leftovers by other teams. Who will prove to actually get minutes and be valuable on his new team?

Rog has a chance, but he sucks. I think he'll get some minutes though.

KT...he'll have to pick up some of the slack with Boozer out. There's always room for a solid rebounder/defender on any team

Thomas already played for a different team last season, and he was a solid contributor for the Bucks..he's the only one of these guys that has anything left in the tank for a bench role..

Bogans is a better player than Mason. Not like that is saying much but yeah, all these guys are pretty much done.

If Mason can get some minutes he'll have no resistance from the staff to throw up 3s. He just needs to be confident about it.

Oberto is the bloke I've loved most as a Spur on this list and would be surprised if that isn't universal among spurs fans

Oberto has a decent chance since Portland's frontcourt loves their suits.

I don't see Oberto getting any minutes though, they're so overcrowded in Portland.

mason is the youngest of all so i presume he'll do better in his post-spurs career than any of the other 4.

Fab also sets some of the best picks around. A lot of guys don't bother to make good solid contact. Some of that is knowing exactly where to be on the court, and some of it is just effort. Unfortunately, setting a good pick is sort of like hitting a good layup shot in golf. You're never going to get any recognition, except maybe from a few other players who know what it's worth.

I agree that it's probably Kurt Thomas. But isn't the real question being asked about whether RMJ will continue to suck, or will he do better on another team? He'll never live up to the expectations that Spurs fans had for him during his first few months here. Personally, I think he's damaged goods, which is a bad thing for a shooter. I wish him well, but I hope he saved some of his money.

Oh, man, can't believe I forgot him. Should have included him as an option. It will be interesting to see if a) he stays healthy and b) he cracks the rotation.

Mason will get the time in NY and has the best chance of getting back on track.

With Chandler & Ratliff gone, I'd say Nozzie will put up good numbers in Charlotte

I didn't include him because he left so long ago, and he wasn't a role player, he was one of the top scorers when he was here and has gone on to be a top scorer for other teams. So he's in a different category altogether.

I said Mason but really all of these guys aren't significant at all anywhere they play anymore.

Roger Mason Jr. only had two seasons of shooting 40% from downtown so I can see him putting up average numbers throughout the Knicks season. Hopefully he doesn't sink any game winners against the Spurs though

I picked Kurt Thomas since bigs are more valuable and the Bulls will be without Boozer due to injury for a month or so.

You know, Nazr hasn't played bad at all with Charlotte. He's actually pretty solid. I don't see any of the others besides maybe Kurt Thomas doing anything really significant.

I pick Oberto cause he's the one who seems the least likely to be slowed by injuries or age, and he's playing on a team that is prone to injuries and therefore will likely have the minutes for him.
