If being a is what you like then congrats, you must be a very happy man. Enjoy continuing to post on a basketball website when you seemingly have no knowledge of the sport at all.
Seriously, someone please pay attention to me.
your leader dare not poke his head into this forum, so take your gay ass back up top to the mouth breather section for better luck, tbh.
I don't really know where you got the whole timvp line, but its a good one. Good way to try and detract/distract from actual conversation.
Good trolling, now go get your treat from luva.
(see what I did there?)
Elite of the elite?!? WTF?Durant lead the league in scoring for ONE freakin season and fell apart in the playoffs. How the does that equate to having an argument for Top 5 in the league? Durant is as one dimensional as you can get. If his jumper isn't falling he's not going to have any other effect on the game which is very similar to Dirk. Neither are playmakers. Neither have any kind of consistent impact defensively. I don't see how Dirk catches flack for this and is ousted from the Top 10 and then at the same time Durant gets a pass and gets bumped up to Top 5.
Name five better scorers in the league than Durant?. You can debate the order, but I don't see how anyone can debate who the top five scorers in the league are (in no particular order): Anthony, Bryant, Durant, James, Wade.
Piece is a more complete scorer, but no longer has the energy or athleticism to dominate offensively on a consistent basis.
Typical. Any white can who can play and the masses rush to his defense. Never mind that he's one dimensional and a proven choke artist. He piles up meaningless regular season points and hits game winners in the regular season, so he must be great!
Roddy Beaubois, Duncan's mobility has limited his defensive impact, but he's still one of the elite defensive anchors in the league.
Greg Oden, I was unaware before that you were a troll. You have no credibility if you honestly believe Nowitzki is better than Robinson. Robinson, like Duncan, had Nowitzki beat in every category, save for range shooting.
I'm just glad that Kobe's has single-handedly caused Duncan's career to take a back seat...head to head Kobe's dominance over one Timmy G Duncan is well chronicled...I maintain that when it's all said and done...Kobe's Legacy will make Duncan a footnote in History... NO ONE WILL REMEMBER TIMMY....and if they do it will be just like the slogan...REMEMBER THE ALAMO...the only ones that remember that are the assholes in San Antonio... ;-)

.. ing idiotic statement to think he'll be forgotten. Somehow I don't think lovers on the NBA will forget 4 championships in 9 years to a city who'd never got there in the past..
LeBron needs to fire his management team, work on his post game, take fewer 3-pointers and win a damn le or seven. Then we can stop arguing what's been clear for several years. He's the most dominant player in the world, a basketball force of nature like few in league history. His offensive efficiency is off the charts. His D is catching up to his O. When he doesn't thoroughly impose his will on a game, it's a surprise. So much so, apparently, that he gets labelled a quitter or choker if it happens more than once in a playoff series. Even in Miami, it's unclear if his supporting cast can match Kobe's, but he's put himself in a much better position to succeed.
This. It is what i have been saying on here for years ...it's not hate. He just needs to win. Many subscribe to this theory. I do think he overrates his defense a bit in the article, because though improved, his defense is still way behind his offense unless we are talking about post-game. Lebron still has a chance at GOAT status over MJ ...but he needs to win, a lot and soon. No more excuses. Kobe should not be the standard, MJ still is. I have no problem with Lebron being the MVP over kobe or considered by most the better player ...he just needs to win before i go there. I dont care what anyone says on this topic ... rings matter in THIS discussion. And No, horry is NOT relevant. When debating the greats rings matter. it's why Duncan is >>> Dirk. Dirk has the same number of rings the gap narrows. Duncan is still better but the gap goes from huge to just a gap.
Duncan won't be forgotten, but, Bryant has been mercurial the last two seasons. He put a lot of his demons to rest. It's probably caused him very little if any respite from the voices, but, the alternative would have been untenable.
Bryant's search for contentment is futile and without end.
Duncan conversely never had to search. He was innately endowed.
We're not talking Top 5 scorers. We're talking Top 5 players. It's nice that Durant had one great scoring season. We have people saying Dirk is too one dimensional to be Top 10. What exactly does Durant do (besides scoring) that justifies him being Top 5?
And if America hates Kobe, he can just move to China and in a few years, end up ruling the US after we have to pay China back ....... which we won't
I said elite of the elite in terms of "that one dimension". The dimension I was referring to, of course, was scoring. Durant is unquestionably an elite scorer. Nowitzki falls just short of that. That was my primary reason for Durant being a top ten player and Nowitzki not being a top ten player. I didn't say there was a 25 spot gap or Durant had an elite of the elite all around game.
Kobe won't live a long life.
Durant is not better than Wade, Chris Paul or Deron Williams. The overrating of this kid is absurd. He'll get there, but right now I still view Durant as a one dimensional but bonafide Superstar athlete.
hysterical post
In what way has Kobe caused Duncan's career to take a back seat??? Duncan won't be remembered? By who, delusional Lakers fans who don't know much about basketball and pay attention in the playoffs?
Those people that know the game, i.e. true fans of the game, commentators and post-players won't forget Duncan. Obviously they won't because it's re ed to claim such a thing. How many people from the remaining category (everyone else) that remember Duncan well....who gives a ? Certainly not me or any other of the people in the 3 categories listed above. So this entire aspect of your post fails. Completely re ed.
I think the reasons why Kobe gets much more attention these days has to do with the following:
- He's younger and as a guard less hampered by his old age, compared to Duncan who's lost mobility and athleticism with age
- The Spurs have always been widely considered as boring with their playing style, obviously watching Kobe's game has more potential to attract fans
- There is always a story with the Lakers...Kobe and Shaq, two stars constantly counting rings and media obsessed with the whole story as it progresses, Kobe chasing MJs ring count, Lakers with many big transactions affecting media coverage during transaction and throughout the season (adding Gasol, Artest, etc.)
-Los Angeles is way bigger than San Antonio, and considering fan bases and media attention...this aspect is rather obvious
You're a re . It's pretty unanimous amongst experts and ex-players that Duncan is one of the best big men ever.
....true, but, Duncan is in fart catcher mode now.
Funny people cry about Wade getting to the line but Durant is a jump shooter who gets to the line more than anyone. He's got talent no doubt but he's overrated IMO.
