Well that's the season. Kinda glad it ended in week 6 instead of them putting together a run and giving me false hope only to choke it away in December

Fractured left clavical for Romo. I wonder how long he will be out.
About 4 weeks at least until the bone properly heals.

Tank the season, go for #1 overall. Only logical choice.

Romo has a fractured left clavicle. Month long recovery?
    Atleast.

I remember in high school my friend had that injury and it took him about 2 months to recover fully

I think they should shut Romo down for the year. They will be out of it by the time he's healthy enough to play.

Not for the year, it's not like he's some 21 year old phenom out of college who's the future of the franchise.

Obviously, there's no point in rushing him back anymore with the season pretty much lost, but when he's fully ready to come back you play him.

    JJ will never allow that

Well, they're not going to go with an unknown in McGee. They'll play it safe and go with the known quan y. Kitna sure can hand it off to Felix Jones. He can sure take 3 step drops and then dump it off to Barber for a two yard gain. That's gotta count for something, right?

If Cowboy fans thought we had turnover problems now, just wait til Kitna gets comfortable and starts airing it out

    Yeah a L.

You can take a known loser but you're almost asured of being losers. You can take a gamble on an unknown and have a gamblers chance of winning a game.

I was delusional of course, but I really thought Romo was "the quarterback of the future" and was going to lead the Cowboys to the Superbowl eventually. I mean the dude has had like three 4,000 yard seasons or something like that. Dayum.

That's like 'playing it safe' by jumping out of the airplane with the 'chute you know is shredded and missing cords because you're not absolutely certain the shiny new 'chute was packed completely right.

Romo's a very good QB. He will help the Cowboys win alot of games. Only question is whether he's great enough to lead the Cowboys to the Super Bowl. I'm going to say no. Wouldn't surprise me if the new Cowboys coach drafts someone like a Greg McElroy and grooms him to be the guy in a few years who will lead the team to a Super Bowl.
