At the end of this article there's a short update on Jerrells: http://www.mysanantonio.com/sports/s...105744458.html
Apparently the Hornets waived him in order to make room for Bayless. So the Spurs will not get that traded 2nd round pick. Weird.
Shocking.

a dollar short and a few days late
Who cares, we don't need Jerrells and we don't need a 2025 second round pick.
So you were predicting a couple of championships for the Clippers in the next few years?
AFAIK, trades can't be modified like that. Spurs still have Clippers top 55 protected Clippers second round pick. Add to that ithe 2016 Bobcats top55 protected Bobcats secodn round pick they got in the Ratliff trade, Spurs are stockpiling high quality draft picks to reload the team in the post Duncan era. The whole NBA is scared.
I heard the 56-58 picks are projected to be loaded with stretch fours with huge upside.
That pick was never going to materialize anyway. I can't imagine any universe where the Clippers will EVER finish with a top 5 record in the NBA.
AFAIK, we still get the trade exception. It's small, but sometimes, a small exception is all that is need to grease a big multi-team trade. We have Ratliff's from last year, too, IIRC.
I am so use to you speaking the gospel that I had to take a double take with the sarcasm.
Since there are an infinite number of parallel universes, and every possible thing happens in at least one, then there must be one where everything you said comes true and the Spurs draft the next Kobe/Shaq duo with those picks.
