So, I was looking up the movie "I Love You, Man," which John Hamburg directed, and it turns out that he also worked on a show called Undeclared, which Apatow created. And for that I vote for Apatow. Now that I know he also created Freaks and Geeks, it's no contest.
Also, Roadtrip ing sucked and Old School wasn't really funny either.

I've never come across the phrase, "shove a shank up my gooch." It sounds most unpleasant.
Phillips and Apatow are both overrated, but Freaks and Geeks is a classic.
Don't bother. Even Adam Sandler couldn't save Apatow's horrible writing.

whoever made anchorman is the best tbh
Adam McKay directed it and co-wrote with Will Ferrell. McKay's got an impressive lineup with Anchorman, Talladega Nights, and Step Brothers. The reason I didn't include him is cause his success is COMPLETELY shared with Will Ferrell
