The presentation was great as well as the song. Definitely the best intro in the league.
I like the 80's touch but the presentation was kinda terrible...
The presentation was great as well as the song. Definitely the best intro in the league.
and for those not old enough, here's the original song for the intro
sad thing about all of that was tickets were still available at the beginning of the game ..... you have got to be kidding me Miami.
A lot of empty seats as I cruised thru the game venues.
South Florida ..... one of the worst fan bases ever. Marlins have not one but two World Series matchup and BAM. Plastic bags over one section and a load of invisible people in another.
Steelers go into Miami and you couldn't tell if it was a home game or a road game for the 'fins.
ESPN and all this hype for the Heat in South Beach and still 400-500 tickets available for the home opener? That's crazy.
The Marlins ruined their stay in Miami after the 97' ship. Nobody ever gave a anymore after that betrayal. They sold the team and traded and gave away all of our players after the World Series. the Marlins, baseball is boring to watch anyway.
as for the Dolphins, this is a football town. We love our Dolphins so you don't know jack , laker fan.
You want to rag on a MYTH about Miami, Los Angeles is worse. Winner picker s THAT COULDNT EVEN KEEP THEIR NFL TEAMS.
YOU HAVE NO NFL TEAM LOLLOLOLOLOL.
how about Dogder games? You see more Yankee hats than anything else
Stubhub is a 3rd party site, brah
That means people buy the tickets from the Heat, and then try to re-sell them at higher prices to make a profit.
Just cause the re-sellers have tickets available at $180 for a nosebleed seat doesn't mean that the game didn't sellout.
If they hadn't bought them and raised the prices to make a profit, fans would have bought them.
I don't blame ANY Heat fan for telling them to go off.
Real deal, the nosebleeds were going for $100-200+ dollars.
them. They are re-selling the tickets and trying to make a profit off of this.
Still & all, Heaty, Ashy is correct here=your inability to sell out is humiliating.
Gil Green did the intro, Heat spent good money on it.
Your Lakers will be humiliated soon enough![]()
We'd have to have a formal introduction. It's been over two years since we last saw such.
NFL? lol. Let's see. How should I break this down. Oakland or St. Louis first. You want to rag on a MYTH about Miami, Los Angeles is worse. Winner picker s THAT COULDNT EVEN KEEP THEIR NFL TEAMS.
YOU HAVE NO NFL TEAM LOLLOLOLOLOL.
Al Davis or Georgia Frontiere?
Let's start with Al. I want a new stadium in Irwindale. OK Al, here's ten million dollar to get things started. I'm leaving anyways. That's on the NFL right there. Al already squashed them in practically every court case they've had. And we really haven't lost much with the Raiders. Fans were always there. 18th Street and motorcycle gangs were well represented.
As far as the Rams. Georgia said, let's not spend any money to put a good product on the field. The fans slowly started to dwindle but still had a nice attendance. St. Louis offered her a nice deal, her hometown I might add, and she bolted. A guaranteed 20 million per year whether the Rams suck or not. Nothing LA County or Orange County could do when you have ty owners. Wasn't on the fans because they continue to show up. Plus I already have pro football with USC. 95,000 at the Coliseum and 95-100K at the Rose Bowl for UCLA practically every home game.
The main reason we don't have a team right now, and I'm quite proud, is because a billionaire owner comes in here and says, we need public money to help build a stadium. Citizen of the county basically tells him to go himself. Take your own money and build your stadium. We've got freeways to fix.
Canes have a nice squad and people still don't show up. Face it. South Florida is on par with Atlanta when it comes to sports.
Let's see. Dodger suck basically every year yet bring over 3 million-4 million per season. And those Yankee hats are transplanted New York fans who bring their teams with them from the big apple. You should know about that when the Marlins play the Yankees during inter-league play or when the Yanks play the Rays. Come on. You should be smarter than that. New Yorkers are everywhere.how about Dogder games? You see more Yankee hats than anything else
