San Antonio Heat fan has to be shaking in their -stained cowboys boots right about now. The Lakers went in and dominated a contending Suns team like they weren't even there. Meanwhile, the cHeat got a break playing an exhausted Orlando squad coming off a back-to-back, which they struggled to beat. The so-called "Chosen One" put up a measly 15 points, while Kobe Bryant, the emperor of the NBA, crushed the stat line with 25 points and 7 rebounds. When you consider how good Phoenix's perimeter D is, the feat is even more impressive.
Why even play the damn games? Just wrap up the O'Brien, pack it carefully, making sure to use plenty of bubble wrap, and ship it to El Segundo.

beating two mediocre teams in two close games is nothing nearly as impressive as trouncing the Orlando Magic by 20+ points. in the opening game in LA, the rockets looked the better team 3 and a half quarters and we only lost the game in the last 6 minutes, by only a narrow margin of 2 points.
Well, dummy, that is why they have scoreboards & standings.
