the best ing point guard in the world!
I don't like his at ude at times, but I do like his game. Great PG CP3.

Great win Hornets. Spurs deserved that loss for not showing enough respect IMO. I really do think they though NO would be a rollover tonight.

As bad as Duncan and Parker played, the Spurs were still in this game. The Hornets were playing like they were in the playoffs tonight.

I really hope Tiago can make our D better

    Pacers FG-53%, Hornets FG-50% and 7-11 from 3PT

That's horrible D and they got a lot of layups

How can Tim follow up such an amazing game with this trash?

It was unlike him to have such a crappy game early in the season.
You guys don't know Tim Duncan.

The MVP Tim Duncan used to start off slow when he was at his best and have lots of crappy games at the start of the season. I would much rather the MVP Duncan who starts off slow and then DOMINATES the second half of the season and playoffs.

True but I didnt think it would happen this fast. I wont hold this performance against him. Actually he could have been coasting because the next game is Kaman and Griffin.

Tp new contract and still forgets how to drive and kick. Am I wrong on that or does he forget his teammates sometimes?

Rj should of made that 3 he was open all day. You gotta make those wide open.
That's a tough shot to make. I am OK with that miss. RJ shot it with confidence.

I am really disappointed though that he passed up the three the next time he had a shot. That is a step back IMO and did NOT like it at all. He had to take the next one with confidence again, but he passed it up. He really undid a lot of good work by passing up the next one. Apart from that GREAT overall game.

TP and Manu though did not play smart in the first half. They both played a poor first half and even third quarter just jacking up shots. Poor team play from both. I also hated some of those off balance jumpers TP took. That is not his shot so I have no idea why he was taking them.

Pop may have just slapped me in the face too because he is right. It's up to the players if they want a better start to the season, not on Pop. The players gotta play better if they want a better start.

That's his game though. I remember back then people complained that he didn't attack the basket enough, now he doesn't give up the ball. Can't win I guess.

Great effort by the Spurs and was impressed by the Hornets being able to hang on and get some clutch shots at the end.

And wtf pop? What was the point of bringing in Duncan??

The Spurs bigs (Duncan, Blair and Dice) defended and rebounded, but their scoring was awfully inefficient in the paint.

RJ was very aggressive, Manu as usual great in the end, the team played some P&R defense in the 4-th. After being down for a long time, it was a 90:93 with the Spurs ball, RJ took a 3 from the corner but missed, it seems he doesn't shot well from there, and the Spurs couldn't score again.

Neal can play, has good shot mechanics.

The Hornets shot the lights out for many possessions, it's usually impossible to win a game against a team that shot like that. Plus they have interior presence too. That's a very solid team with high payroll (Paul, West, Okafur, Ariza).

True dat Rayray. he's just so damn fast if he could balance out the pass vs attack he would be unstopable!

Actually, that's the opposite (today), he was tentative from the start of the 3rd and was only passing the ball when we would have needed his scoring!

I don't know what happened exactly, why Pop didn't play him the whole 4th, but I'm sure he wouldn't have benched him as easily if he hadn't sign an extention...

Well, this is what happens when you play only 3 bigs, and only one of them can score and create for himself and others (Tim Duncan). And the other is drastically undersized. It makes the team not have nearly enough of a post game and forces your perimeter players to chuck up shots that aren't there.

This would have been the perfect time to bring in Splitter, but I guess not. I don't understand how two more days of rest would have been all the difference, especially since he's been out for like a month and a half.
Just be patient son, its all part of Pop's master plan ya know
