A) As Manny already pointed out, McNabb has always missed receivers on occasion. It's part of the package. He's also with a brand new OC and set of receivers. Timing doesn't happen in one year.
B) You don't think worrying about getting crushed on every single play might have something to do with it? So obviously what the Skins need to do is find one of those QBs who excels with a ty offense line.
I would understand if we had a good backup. Or if we had a running game we could lean on. Right now the skins offense lives and dies with McNabb making a play happen a good deal of the time. The run in the 2nd quarter was an example of that.
Putting in Rex Grossman and expecting him to make as many or more plays happen than McNabb is some amazingly stupid thinking and if you find me a Skins fan who believes that then you've found me a stupid ing fan.
Maybe he wasn't familar with the terminology but he's still Donovan McNabb, he has run a two minute drill once or twice. McNabb is still your best chance to win a ball game.
Any quarterback but Grossman is your best chance.

Shanahan has gone off his rocker.
Today he claims that he didn't play McNabb because he's had a sore hamstring and so he couldn't handle the two-minute drill from a "cardiovascular standpoint".
He also said that the plan all week has been to play Grossman during the two-minute drills.
Either: a) Shanahan is so arrogant he thinks he can just say any that comes to mind and people will have to believe it, or b) the curse of Camp Snyder has gotten to him.

Yea officiating was bad on both sides. Lions dominated the Jets today, the offense still sucks. On a day when the Pats lose to the browns and the jets have a chance to retake the division, they fail miserably as usual.
I never know what to think of the Jets anymore. I'll just assume they're an overachieving team at 5-3 with a tough schedule ahead. They'll be lucky if they're in the playoffs again
