    son Oregon should have been number 1 last week as well ... Auburn has yet to beat anyone worth a damn in my opinion. don't get me wrong, they are definitely deserving of a top 3 or 4 ranking, but the best team they have beaten is LSU and they barely squeaked past them by one score.

    hopefully the beavs put them in their place

    there's not a single legit National Champion Quality team in the top 5 right now

    Alabama/Oklahoma best 2 teams in CFB

    The BCS is football's equivalent of America's political system. If you aren't one of "them", you can't get your foot in the door until they all shoot themselves in their own foot.

    And if two non big-conference teams make it to the le game, whoever wins will be dubbed the "Co-champion" with whatever big-name school wins the other top 5 bowl game.

    People say college sports are the only pure sport left. I have wonder what kind of objectivity they have to say that when the BCS is the worst system in American sports today.

    Sadly I'm going to have to agree with Ghazi on this one. Auburn got more than double the yards LSU did (526 to 246, big difference). Also, if I remember correctly, the game ended with Auburn on the 3 yard line. Rather than punch it in and run up the score, they did the classy thing and took a knee. If you watched that game, you knew Auburn was the better team.


    Also, what's up with tlong sucking Oregon every chance he gets? What kind of Beaver fan are you?

    The LSU punter is the only reason AU didn't win by a lot more

    tbh, Tlong is all about the state of Oregon as a whole. Shows you the difference between passions in Alabama (where you will never find an Auburn guy repping alabammer) and the state of Oregon.

    The computers are re ed. Sagarin has Bama at #17!!!!! lolololololololol The BCS computer (not the combined ranking, where bama sits @6) ranking has Bama 15th, below one loss teams Mizzou, Mich St, Wisconsin, and Arizona
