^^^ That's about the total number of kids we've seen at the house tonight. WTF parents, you're not letting the kids go b/c it's a freaking Sunday night?
We had only one kid come. That was one more than last year.
probably because theyre all at the wealthy neighborhoods
zing!
Our neighborhood was insane for trick-or-treating. I made 125 treat bags and ran out of that and had to start busting into our personal stash before we finally turned the lights off at 8:00.
On the streets were wall-to-wall people. One of our neighbors had rented a popcorn machine and was passing out that to the kids. It was a cool idea.
We get a lot of people from other neighborhoods that come here ... but there were some seriously awesome costumes tonight, so it was fun.
Yea we had tons of people, lots of little ones. My son and the other teenage boys in the neighborhood always put on a haunted house and this year it was really great, all I heard all evening was kids SCREAMINGIt was a nice night, all the neighbors were out, good fun

Same for us. Lots of fun!
told you the kids all went to the richer neighborhoods
We do not live in a rich neighborhood.
So basically SpursWoman confirms that she's one of the more elite richers on the site. Prahps![]()
It's not a ghetto, but that's not what I would call it, by a long shot. Just a lot of families, I guess.
Plus, at least 95% of the people in my neighborhood participate. Hardly a light off.![]()
That's cool that so many people participate in your neighborhood. I think in our area, the families might be older - so not many trick-or-treaters. Or maybe it's just the houses are too far apart and no one wants to walk![]()
Where we moved from had houses far apart like that ... the kids were toddlers and after about 3 or 4 houses they were ready to go home.![]()
I took my kids to my grandma's and when we were kids, it was active. But we're all older now with our own kids, so not so much. But about 2 blocks down, my kids scored me, I mean themselves a huge loot of candy.
Same neighborhood, only 2 blocks apart. It's all a matter of area.
I live in a 1000+ unit apartment complex and a pretty nice one we had 0 beggers i mean trick or treaters knock on our door. Our porch light was even on. Ive got a whole bag of Tootsie Roll pops for sale....
We too had lots of kids come by and almost all the neighbors had their lights on. Good time and saw great costumes and great kids.
I never get Trick or treaters...guess it's that long dark walk up the driveway that scares em off...
Went to Wurstfest instead and ended up out at Riley's Tavern in Hunter for horseshoes and lots more Shiner Bock...
Candy will be 1/2 off today.![]()
I ended up as one of the Chilean Trapped Miners and as a group of 5 of them, we ended up winning best group costume theme at a Halloween party. The best costumes I saw where the Angry Birds ensemble and the Meg Whitman and her illegal immigrant...
I usually like that; but I have treated myself so much since last week, I already have a PUMPKIN SIZED zit on my chin![]()
