I hope Denver tanks.
I'd rather see Tebow get some time than fumbles Orton.
With the current hot mess in Arizona's QB situation, should they tank this season in a still winnable division or go one and done in the playoffs?
If they tank, they obviously get a higher pick but there will be the question of what could have been in this unpredictable NFC division.
This could also apply to other teams struggling for iden y.
Give up or roll the dice?
o? You play to win the game. We don't play to get better.
Personally, I'd like my team to shoot for the playoffs and see if they can sneak into the the big show again. They are a QB away from being a compe ive team and they can address that problem with a free agent signing.
But what if a certain team lacks several pieces to be in contention and the season is slowly slipping away?
My team is on a collision course with either Luck, Locker, or Mallett.
As a Raider fan, high picks give you nothing if you don't know how to groom them well, or waste them on talentless hacks.
Look at Mexi, on top of the world..
Come at me ot. It feels ing good, man. This is what .500 feels like when it's not 1-1?Pretty good.
I feel like eating a bag of barbecue broke legs.
tbh i've heard people make a case for all 3 on here...was on the Locker bandwagon for awhile but he's the bed this season, imo. high on Luck right now
Yeah, Luck has to be the pick from what we've seen this season. Matt Barkley in 2012, s.
Wannabe, gonnabe, suckin', pussy-eatin' prankstas
I was at the Cards game this afternoon and everytime they show the Raiders-Seahawks game score on the big screen the crowd shouts Raaaiiiiiddeeeeerrrrsssss!
Like a twilight zone, man.
As a Cowboys fan, I want to see them tank.
Oh wait...they don't have to!!![]()
exactly they just have to play
That's right!! Keep doin' what you're doin, boys!![]()

Bills fan (lol) I dont think they have much of a choice. They are actually playing their ass off and trying to win but keep losing. Andrew Luck, or if he doesnt come out some stud defensive player.
Mallet is a system QB and Locker blows ass.
As a Browns fan, well... same difference.
I'm not a believer in tanking in the NFL. For one, the only way to build a winning system and a winning culture is by winning football games. You don't become a winning organization by losing.
For another, the NFL draft isn't like the NBA draft. If you're smart enough you can find good players in any round with any pick. The 1974 Steelers draft is generally considered the best ever for a team, and their highest pick was #21 overall (Lynn Swann.) The 1986 49ers draft is considered one of the best ever and they didn't even have a first-round pick.
Just look at the consistent winners, the Baltimores and Pittsburghs. How many top-five picks have they had in the last decade? Now how many top-five picks have Cleveland and Oakland had?
Jerry Jones said he would be willing to sacrifice a year to get the Cowboys in position to win a le.
I now understand where I stand on this subject.
If it is my team tanking for better position, I say smart move.
When the other team is going to do it, I yell: CHEATERS!
