Aside from that, he's an okay person. He's not intrusive and doesn't ask for stuff or takes things without asking. That's the only problem I have with him. But it's pretty big.
My roommate doesn't seem all that interested in school. He didn't even arrange his own schedule, and all what he cared about was that he had Fridays off so he can have an early weekend. Last week I found out he keeps drinks in the room. I thought that as long as he's secretive about it, it'll be alright. But just a few minutes ago, he pulled out a small bag of weed. I'm starting to feel uncomfortable because if people find out about it, I'm gonna be asked if I knew about it and why didn't I speak up before. But I would feel like a bad person for ratting him out, and him having to face the big consequences. What to do, what to do...

Clear your history, or at least, close your browser with this topic up if he's in the room.
Lol, he left for class. But he's gonna get high first, because it's boring to him.
Request to be moved to another room?
Honestly, why would you get in trouble? Does he know you saw the weed? If not, he can't say you did anyways, and it's a simple "No officer, I had no idea he smoked marijuana. He did it in this room? Never smelled a thing." and you're off the hook.
ing smoke that lightweight
I would rather not move out. I don't think it's right that I should have to go through that trouble because of him. I want to be a nice guy, but I barely know him too.
If he's a cool cat like you say then ask him if he can keep that on the dl, or crack a window from time-to-time. Other than that, if questioned just pretend you don't know about it. Have you ever tried weed before? You'll find that college girls love drugs, especially cocaine. Good luck.
He knows that I saw it. And when he brought in the drinks, he had a friend with him and they both knew that I saw too.
I can't say that I have tried it before.
Is he not allowed to have drinks?
Anyways, how much weed was there?
They were Four Lokos. And he's a freshman. And I don't know, he pulled out one bag, but I'm not sure if that was all of it.
If you have strong convictions about not doing it, then good for you, I respect that. But if it's a matter of just "not having tried it," ask a couple friends you trust to smoke you out. They'll be more than down to smoke you out your first time and won't charge anything. I'm not gonna lie, it's fun. Like all things though there's a time and a place for it. Luckily for you, that time is usually high school and college. Have fun and experience new things bud, cause when it's over you're going to miss it.
Mind your own business and stop being a goddamn pussy.

You really aren't at risk, tbh. As long as you refain from doing the things he does, you can't really get into trouble and that's all that really matters. So if your room gets raided due to the strong, beautiful smell of marijuana, and neither the weed nor the paraphernalia in the room are yours, you have nothing to worry about.
And I'm guessing you're not 21? Because you could potentially get in trouble for having some alcohol and he brings attention to the room which causes you to get in trouble for any potential alcohol you kept yourself.
This is a tough situation I'd imagine, not knowing your roommate can create a lot of unspoken problems, which isn't good. Just try to eventually reach some sort of understanding with this subject, you gotta cover yourself.
Now if this roommate was your friend, I would be telling you to stop complaining and get baked with him, obviously not in the room. If he's smoking in the room, he's gonna run into problems eventually, unless he uses a vaporizer.
In a dorm-- request a new room. You do not have to be subjected to illegal activity just because you are in college, especially if it's against your personal convictions.
Man up and stop being a pussy.
Either request a room change or rat him out. Drug convictions (however unlikely that may be for you in this situation) mean the end of federal student aid, and since you're in college I assume you need it.
your sig quote makes no sense![]()
I can only imagine what kinda college student the OP is...
or maybe

oh noes! college student smoking the pot? what could be worse?
dude if you narc on your roommate for weed you might as well turn in your and change your screen name to walking vagina
who cares if your roommate is getting ed up? it's college. i used to take LSD and go to class. weed is small time.
And where are you now?
I agree though with your message but only to an extent. Taking LSD and going to class takes away the whole point of going. College is the time to experiment, but you can't be a re about it, otherwise you'll probably end up with some regrets. There's limits to everything.
For example, it's obvious by now I enjoy marijuana, but I will admit smoking it on campus in a dorm room, especially routinely, is very stupid (unless you know your RA or he/she is chill about it). It's really easy to get caught, and if you do, you unfortunately say goodbye to that college. That's just the reality, most places you'll be kicked out. If not kicked out, then definitely losing any student aid you receive for paying for college, and dramatically decreasing your chances of being hired, especially in this job market.
With that being said, I used to smoke weed in my dorm room all the time when I lived on campus last year, but I was smart about it via vaporizer + being on top floor and blowing vapor/smoke out the window.
LOL, I guess it was only relatively smart, and largely stupid, but fortunately my tactics worked.
In this case though, from the given conditions, you don't really have much to worry about. You aren't responsible for any of the illegal activities taking place nor are you doing them yourself, so if people bust into your room and find your roommates weed and/or alcohol, you have nothing to worry about because it's not yours.
