sons what is the deal with the baseball teams in Texas? I mean after all Texas is supposedly known as a "great" baseball state that produces a lot of players, yet both the Astros and Rangers are two of the biggest choke artist teams in MLB ...

The Rangers clearly had no business being in the World Series this season, but hey congrats to them for lucking up and squeaking in. Everyone knows that this was simply a one year fluke and the Rangers will go back to reality in a few weeks. All of their good free agents will sign with real teams who will actually pay them what they are worth, unlike the Rangers who will continue low balling their players.

Again though congrats to the Giants. I am not a fan by any means, but they completely owned, dominated, and deserved this championship. It was quite a cakewalk series for them.

this coming from an Astros fan.

You needed the Dynamic Duo of Steroids Users in Clemens/Pet te to make a World Series. We did it with a crackhead in center field and a cokehead for a manager.

The Rangers may not make it back, but they will still beat Houston's ass in every year in the Silver Boot World Championship.

Pretty classless thread BR. I expected better from you son. Kicking a dead horse while its down tbh. Like BUMP said, at least we don't have to hear from all the bandwagon fans for a while, that really being the only condolence.

, you and I both know this cajun consumin motha a don't give a damn about baseball. Still, me and BR are practically brothers, tbh.

My post was directed towards the CBF's of the world who now have more important things to worry about such as challenging JT to fights, tbh, imho

The New Orleans Hornets arent a baseball team right? ....The Rangers are a very young team with a very big upside...unlike the Giants who probably only have Lince , Posey, and Cain, while all the other guys were 1 year/half year veteran rentals who wont be around next year...

son yea but the Rangers are going to lose nearly every single good player to free agency. This was their big "one and done" opportunity to win a le and they choked it away. There is no reason for anyone to be mad about it, its the ing truth. Texas IN MY OPINION was the better team, but they simply didn't have what it takes to win the big dance. The Giants played with heart and actually showed some effort, which Texas didn't.

The Giants just got hot at the right time...they're like the Bucs of the NFL that one year or the Cardinals and White Sox in baseball from a couple years ago. Texas will be fine...they'll be back. at least they won a game in the World Series unlike Houston.

oh and sons in Louisiana we obviously don't have a baseball team, so most people choose between the Astros, Braves, or Rangers ... talk about some ty ass options. At least the Astros were fun to watch during their Dome days with Biggio and Bagwell leading the team ... now days the Astros are more like a theme park. by the way they built their park and designed their field I often times feel like they are "making up" for AstroWorld getting closed down ...

    Lince interview on ESPN:

Reporter "so what do you think is going on in SF"

Lince "Hopefully the beer is flowing and there is smoke in the air"

That was definitely happening at the Civic Center. I could totally smell weed everywhere I went.

Congrats to the Rangers on a great season... I'm still in shock and viciously hung-over. Still can't believe the Giants won

I can't on the Rangers at all. I'm not a fan but they have built a great squad. Their roster and farm system is what I wish the Astros would have.
