    Barnes was a great signing for the amount of $ and the fact that he's placed on the bench..IIRC, picc was against signing him..picc, wrong, as usual..I don't know if anybody here is off more often than he is..

    I'm just glad the Lakers ended up with Matty and not that little wit, Raja.

    Brown dripping with confidence and seems to have stepped up his game without the pressure of playing for a new contract. And Ebanks has worlds of basketball talent, much more than Barnes has ever displayed. The Lakers found this guy at the bottom of the ing draft

    Once Odom returns to the bench good ing luck, NBA. I never wanted it to be THIS easy, you know.

    Mateo already paying dividends. Started off 2-10 from the field tonight but crashed the boards like crazy. I'm psyched about Brown's improved shooting touch, but I still know there'll be games when he bricks it left and right. All in all, it's encouraging to finally have a bench that the starters don't need to rescue in the 4th quarter anymore...could add a couple years on Kobe's career

    All this sucking and back slapping has me nervous. The only game i would of even been half-way acceptable in losing was @Phoenix. We have protected home-court and have made it look, easy but we should.
    I'm impressed with the bench and the improvement of Lamar and shannon ...

    But

    Artest is laying bricks
    Bynum is still far from playing ...
    and as good as our bench is, they always need Pau or Lamar to anchor the triangle. When they play with no "pivot" they turn over the ball a lot. just glad kobe is getting rest for a change.

    I may have ted on Luke many times in the past. But he remains an integral practice player and his basketball IQ is unquestioned. Wouldn't be surprised if he becomes an assistant coach in the future..besides, he makes Phillip happy.

    Luke can stay. It's not like he sees the floor anyway

    All jokes aside Luke is a better triangle anchor than anyone other than pau, kobe or Odom ...even better than bynum because he is a great passer. But other than that he doesnt give us much ...
