you, I post when and where I please...
When Lebron +DWADE have fully meshed together.
You're only allowed to post in this topic if you have a lower post per day percentage than me.
Next time bring more to the plate than this sorry excuse for a thread.
Insightful.
I suspect they'll be pretty good 2 years from now too.
It's so easy to talk it.
the majority of heat fans saying they have the championship locked up this year is ridiculous. Until they get a real, physical big man, the lakers will likely beat them in a 7 game series regardless of how well Wade and Lebron do. Chris Bosh was also no the right signing for the team as he is primarily a shooting forward. Hopefully we get someone midway through the year to grab the boards and play D.
The Lakers? The Celtics will bounce them way before they get anywhere near the Lakers.
Depends on whether or not age comes into a factor this year. Who knows if Shaq and KG will make it that far this year. I also want to see How Perkins comes back from the injury. The Lakers? The Celtics will bounce them way before they get anywhere near the Lakers.
D Wade will get injured and they will need to bring another wheelchair out. So them playing together won't last.
Here here.
It's beyond me why Heat fan insists that the East is a lock.
As I interpret events the whole plan was that Wade, James, and Bosh were going to do whatever it took to be on the same team. The only question was where would they play. Chicago, NY, and Miami probably had the best chance to land all three, and we know who they picked.
When it came down to "The Decision", LeBron had two choices, really. Stay home in Cleveland, or join Wade and Bosh. Had he stayed in Cleveland he would always wonder what could have been had he followed his original plan. Instead he is following his original plan. Can't fault him for that, I agree with everyone who says it was his right to go to the Heat.
Supposedly Chris Paul wanted in too, but his contract expiration didn't match the other 3. I don't know if Miami can somehow get him as well down the line. CP3 would have to accept MLE.
considering they don't implode in the locker room after a post-season failure?
The Heat is on track to the best start in the history of the league ... oh, wait, they already lost a game.
Wade ain't better than all the starting point guards in the NBA. He's not better than CP3 or Nash. Bosh? He's a solid power forward and Lebron is in a league of his own. But Lebron with a solid pg and solid pf cannot win on his own. This Heat team is not the Lakers cause they don't have enough firepower on the reserves and they do not have quality bigs.
Chris Paul on the Heat as well, if that happens what would be the point in having a season, put Lebron, Wade, Chris Paul, and Bosh on the court tell them two on two and call it a season

I don't assume they are a lock, I just think they have a higher chance to get past the celtics than they do the LakersHere here.

True. Lakers frontcourt will devastate the soft Heat frontcourt. Talk about a huge size and weight advantage. Mainly weight but there is some size as well. Heat won't be running against a team that constantly posts up.
The East is irrelevant. Doesn't really matter which team comes out.
The only thing stopping the Lakers is multiple injuries to their starters and , that didn't even stop them last June![]()
The Heat lost to a playoff team on the road and beat a playoff team at home. They also best three teams that last year lost a combined 192 games. I think it might be a little early to start sizing the rings.
Shut up ring less
