Congratulations! I was adopted as a baby, as well. It takes special people to understand the needs of such children.

My story is kind of fun, too. I have a son I raised from the age of two who is now 19. I am the only person he knows as his dad. At the age of 47 I had my first child. It was also, the first time I met a blood relative.

Yes, the three of them were placed with us between March-May. It usually takes 9 months to a year or so to finalize (it's 6 month minimum in Texas from the time they move in). It hasn't been that hectic for us.

Tomorrow, timvp and I are finalizing the adoption on our first daughter.

For those of you who don't know, we have three kids who were placed with us in recent months (two girls and a boy). And tomorrow is the court date to finalize the adoption of the first one.

We are very excited and proud.

Anyway, this isn't Spurs-related but I wanted to share our news with our second family -- the SpursTalk family.

And big thanks to timvp for being the best dad and husband ever.

When you opened that thread before the beginning of season and you mentioned that your family has gone from two to five, I remember thinking "wow, Kori and timvp have triplets, no wonder they don't have time to sort all this nonsense on Spurstalk out".
