A mere week into the 2010 NBA campaign and the Phoenix Suns' season hopes have been annihilated for this year and many years to come. Superstar point guard Steve Nash has informed Suns management he's leaving the team permanently November 15 to pursue a political career in his native Canada.

http://www.kpho.com/sports/25628250/detail.htmlSocial Media sites exploded Wednesday night after a story surfaced online in the Phoenix New Times saying Suns star Steve Nash was quitting the Suns to pursue politics in Canada. Multiple team sources have called the story a hoax and a statement was released on suns.com calling the article "humorous" and that Steve Nash remains a member of the team. CBS 5 News is working on tracking down the story's author.
The announcers on the game said it's a hoax but the place was buzzing about it.
