I pay no attention to what happens in the beginning of the regular season. Remember this is a team that illustrated a few years ago that they can go on a 22 game winning streak without Yao. They are struggling, but it is more of terms of bad luck more than anything. Rick Aldeman has gotten these players to buy into his system and it is going to pay off in a few more days. Just be patient Rocket fans. I feel confident as long as they make the playoffs, they will challenge the Lakers and more likely than not, represent the west in the finals.

adelman should start them both imho, with Martin mainly used as the 6th man. Brooks as a scorer is twice the player he is as a playmaker, whereas Lowry looks more of an engine in the backcourt. adelman at times tried this backcourt combo last season and it worked pretty well.

Martin has the talent but he often struggles to learn the system well, so he's best used off-the-bench. back to the old years when he was in Sacramento, he was also used as a 6th man more often than not.

Martin & Brooks are sheer liabilities on the defensive end, enough to negate their contributions in offense, that's why Martin should secede from the starting lineups and play as the 6th man. Courtney lee plays solid defense, so does lowry, both of them should be first-team choices before kevin martin.
