Oberto retires due to recurrent palpitations related to a prior cardiac condition.
They are cursed.![]()
Sad to hear Oberto retiredbut it was bound to happen
Andre Miller
Brandon Roy
Kevin Durant
Lamarcus Alridge
Marcus Camby
Oh what could have been....
are they still on pace to go 81-1?
Man, when will the Blazers faithful learn about hubris?
Winning early and bragging should never take precedence over praying for health. These guys werent vital players ...but if any team's faithful should now about how injuries ravage the promise of a season it's THESE current Blazers and their fans. In fact maybe they ARE cursed:
1. Walton's promising carerr derailed
2. Two words: Sam Bowie
3. Two more: Greg Oden
Also Roy has had a history of knee trouble dating back to HS and college ...
3. Two more: Greg Oden
1) Fire the entire Blazers medical staff and hire new ones from out of state.
it's very clear that the Blazers medical staff sucks ass at preventing injury.
Every player they've lost this year is a scrub.
lol panicking because your 9th, 10th, and 11th men go out due to injury,
strength and conditioning coach
Rudy Fernandez is out tonight with a back injury as well. Not a good day. Not a good week...
i feel for ya man ....
How will they ever replace the 4 points and 2 rebounds they lost from Pendergraph, Oberto, and Watson? Gonna be a long season.
I knew Oberto would have to quit eventually because of the afib. He's going to have to be on long term anti-coagulation if it keeps recurring.
Thank Christ Oberto was in the league long enough to get vested in their pension.
Portland is to centers as Spinal Tap is to drummers.
Roy would all the time, he is ing now allready to get the ball more and get more iso plays.
