Seriously? Who thinks this season sucks?
I am already bored to ing death as a Laker fan. I am literally bored when we are already up 12 points 5 minutes into the ing game. It blows.
I don't even really have an urge to watch games anymore. I already know whats going to happen. Against ty teams it will be close but Lakers will win in the end. Lakers blow out every good team they take seriously by 12+ points.

It's early, but enjoy it. I know looking at 16 trophies and--what is it--40 Finals Appearances can give you the security to think that it will go on forever, but it won't. Kobe Bryant is 32-years-old and playing in his 15th NBA season. He won't be around forever. Enjoy the excellence, the chemistry, the team play. Marvel at it.
As for the rest of the quality of play, I am disappointed in the Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The suprise teams don't look that good (Portland, New Orleans, Golden State, Atlanta, etc). So far, I haven't liked it all that much.

the team leadership and guidance that Pau Gasol has shown and given to guys like Kobe over the last 3 years is incredible ... its a shame the media is obsessed with pushing Kobe to the top simply because he sells a lot of jerseys and shoes. Anyone who understands the game of basketball knows that Pau is HANDS DOWN the MVP and team leader of the Lakers and has been since he arrived there. He is the heart and soul of that team.
