Duncan may be > Garnett but the Celtics would have killed them in 2008.

In 2008, Manu was banged up and our role players in Horry, Bowen, and Barry were on their last legs. The Spurs would have been fortunate to win two games against an emotionally-revved up Celtics team that year.

The Spurs would have been swept if Ariza/Bynum were healthy that series.

That "if" is a real mind .

I'll play it from a position of good, looking for bad, because I'm a goofy er, and it ain't cancer.

But, you couldn't make me do it any other way.

06 we shouldve beated the lame ass mavs if the officiating wasnt bs on the mavs courts...

i hate it when the refs blow out a lead by givin out calls in the first quarter and giving back calls so it dont look su ious to even up the game a bit then blows it out again with bias officiating

08 wouldve been nice had the spurs made it...we wanted to see a td v loudmouth to end all the debate

The only team in the WC in '08 that clearly had a shot at Boston was L.A.

    No argument here.

so do you agree that " IF pau gasol stays healthy you will win a championship ???" everyone uses it, especailly when injuries and luck play a big role in EVERYONES season. i know not all the laker fans in here are 12yrs/o dammit. this does not exclude the very talented lakers kids its called life! not nba2k10

We would have surely lost the series, but there is no way that we'll get faceraped by 39 points.

then it wouldn't be an IF lol.....so why contemplate on it??
This all point of view emotion based observations it's like arguing over santa clause or something, so what if alot of people are using it..doesn't make it valid.

Jordan retired in '98 because he knew The Bulls could not beat The Spurs in '99.

Jordan's balls were too big and he was just too compe ive and fearless to allow for that sort of thinking..the man retired because he felt he had nothing left to prove and wanted to go out on top, nothing more, nothing less. Who's to say he couldn't have won a couple more, he was coming off 3 straight, and maybe 8 straight if not for the gambling scandal after all.
