Why Gary Neal play only 1:11 min yesterday?
It's not the Clippers, because the Nov 1st game, in LA, Gary play 20:21 min, with 16 points and 6 of 10 shots.
Any reason you can imagine?

This is the kind of that Pop does when he is off his game...
some things that Pop does are brilliant...and...then some things are just in' stupid.
If Neal is as mature as he appears to be-this won't affect him and he can keep playing as well as he has in spite of Pop.
If Neal is similar in temperament to RMJ-then this is a bad thing for Pop to up.
Bill Land and Sean Elliott seemed to think it was because of the Clippers length due to Eric Gordon being out.

Yes, the Spurs won, but the score was 95-90 with 3:05 to go, and, for example, Manu play more than 35 min... so, can't Gary play some quality minutes and give Manu more rest?
Get it into your head that Neal is a role player. The reward for performing your job is a pay check, not additional minutes when it doesn't make sense.
The less hype Neal will get and the later he will get it, the better Pop thnks he can use him...

im glad to see people call out pops decesions . yes he can be a brilliant coach but he call also be a re just look at the recently waived and the no sense of urgency for another big defensive body /wing defender.
ill say this about neal if you put yourself in his position hes probably just happy not being waived to be honest. i think he had already came to the realization that he would stay in europe, because like he said his agent called him about the spurs and he said he was so tired he almost didnt want to go.
he forced himself and now hes back in the states no one gave him a chance but the spurs so i definitely dont think hes got that sense of en lement like Rmj had. he had already been playing in the nba and had done well with the wizards. overall i think neal is a real professional and while im sure he wants to play i think hes just happy to be on the team

..Pop wanted to go big because of the Clip's length...Gary Neal does not have a long wingspan...therefore, Pop sat him...let the guy coach...
soooo...we want Gary Neal to get some of Manu's minutes? Manu's healthy...let that sum play 48 minutes...he's playing the best ball on this team right now..
I heard that the Spurs were working on a trade that'd send their 1st round pick+Neal to the Knicks for an undisclosed player...
