So does Spoelstra get fired tomorrow?..
Nope, the better team is winning..Miami has too many flaws right now, they need some maneuvering..
The main reason I didn't think the Celtics would go to the Finals is because I don't believe they're going to hold up for an entire season..unfortunately, they probably won't, and the Lakers will get another one..
I'm off the bandwagon. I don't know what I was thinking. I thought maybe this generation of players was somehow more aware of what makes a good team. They aren't. They are just like Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, etc. They can't adjust to each other. No matter what they do, they will be loved or hated. Get on the ground for rebounds, run off the ball, become a passer--take on a role the team needs. Use that to suprise teams. They'll never be a great team.
They need leadership, someone to calm the team down. That's not going to happen. They need defensive leadership even more than on the offensive side. They need a guy like Reggie Evans or Samuel Dalembert on that frontline. Chris Bosh is soft as they come.
They'll have to change my mind now.
Even the great Patrick Riley can't save their asses. Too many flaws. He'll take over next year around this time after Spoelstra has already done most of the heavy lifting. Plus he's older now, not much energy to engross himself into the job.
Hype will win 53 games, 2nd round exit. Good start for the class of 2003 though.![]()
At least I'm going to win $..betting against the Heat has been good to me so far..
Spoelstra has emptied out the bench for the first time this season, using Chalmers and Stackhouse..I don't know if it's because he's trying something new, or if it's desperation from a man that believes his job is on the line..
I disagree with the bolded. Despite their off court issues, they clearly had no issues on the court. I'd say they adjusted rather well. So says a 3peat.![]()
It's still early but the Big 3 have a combined +/- of 49....
this is the end of the hollinger era and his stupid ass stat formula.
Not having Lebron cover Pierce is just stupidity..he absolutely owns Pierce, yet they didn't have him guard him even once in the half, and obviously Pierce went off..
61-46 at Halftime...the Heat aren't even playing defense...
If the Heat lose this game then they just can't be taken seriously...
lebron doesnt accept the challenge to guard pierce.
Wade/Bosh/Lebron don't even look like they care, tbh..it's been the case for all their losses..they're probably just happy to go their models and money..
Big toe surgery. Kobe's role in getting Shaq traded. It may have paid off, but don't tell me it didn't affect on-court chemistry. You weren't watching close enough. They got angry with each other, blew off each other on the court, decided not to pass to one-another.
Personally, they made me sick. I loved that it was that team the Pistons beat in 2004 for as much as I was cheering for the Portland Trailblazers and Sacramento Kings in the early 2000s as much as seeing Ben Wallace and my hometown team win one.
If the Heat lose this one they will be on pace for a 45 win season.
This season will define Lebron James' career. He better get off his ass and do something. I don't see it.
Lebron has guarded Pierce in almost every game they have played the last few years, including the 1st game this season..
They have Lebron guarding Rondo, because Rondo burned them for 18 assists or whatever in the 1st game..stupid strategy either way..
I'd say three championships nothing to scoff at. Grouping AI and T-Mac with Kobe and Shaq is just... wrong.
they don't have any!!
i was wrong thought they would least play better at home
