Dooh! Dallas are wasting Cardinal's best game of the season against the lowly Sixers. They won't be able to rely on him the rest of the season.

Mavs finally pull away. Win's a win. Unfortunately the false hope from this win will further increase their disappointment after they get swept this week against a superior divisional opponent.

I agree. They will struggle badly against the number one defense in the league.

Yeah I could see the Mavs stealing a fluke win, but you're right, the Hornets could easily sweep 2-0.

the hornets look much improved and decent this year, but they aren't the undefeated contender they're pretending to be. 2nd round ceiling imho

Butler will have been shipped before that happens. Butler will be traded as an expiring stock for someone with bigger value and longer contract (e.g. Iggy)

Imagine how stagnant the Mavs offense will be with Iggy. He couldn't shoot if the NBA used a hula hoop as a rim.

agreed...Iggy is good but would mostly help the mavs defensively. Offensivley he is a poor outside shooter. In tranisiton he is great but in the half court offense, he would just compound the mavs problems

The Mavs already are strong defensively. They need someone to help offensively. A SG like Jason Richardson would do wonders for them.

I rolled my eyes when I saw the ESPN article claiming the Hornets are looking at Iggy. Hornets are already strong defensively and Iggy wouldn't help offensively so basically they would be wasting salary cap space on him for 4 years.
