Steve Nash for Amare Stoudemire FTW
Damn, D'Antoni learns Nash is single and he pounces.
Nash can't take you to the end. He just looks good doing it.
Nash/Hill for Curry/Randolph = Done Deal
That trade makes the Knicks a top-5 team in the East without sacrificing too much, as I've heard D'Antoni isn't enamored with Randolph anyways.
The Knicks fax the paperwork to the league office before the Suns can hang up the phone, but doesn't this trade make Phoenix a lottery team?
Greetings young fellow,
We have a special place for you in our Asylum. Its called "Hooked on Phonics." At this special terminal in our Asylum you will learn key pronunciation and spelling tips in order to be perceived as normal in today's society.
We will first and foremost help you learn how to spell the word "New." Now I know it is hard for some of our patients, but I have a feeling you can go above and beyond in our learning enviroment.
Please take your time and consider our offer.
You will even have your own session to teach other patients of your tribal traditions and beliefs. The session will be called "Ducks and his Haikus," which will take place daily from 7-8 P.M.
Thank you for your time,
LakaLuvaMentalAsylum
Sure does. And saves them some money. And nets them a talented prospect as well.
Ideally the Suns could throw in Childress or Frye along with Nash. Not sure it's workable, however.
if I am suns I try to trade nash
suns are not going to win a le for atleast 2 year or 3 years
nash is not going to win a le with the suns

SUNS FO fail epic
Knicks doing due diligence, inquire about Steve Nash
Matt Moore
It’s pretty predictable, really. Steve Nash’s best days were with Amar’e Stoudemire and Mike D’Antoni. Raymond Felton is a good point guard, but he’s not Steve Nash. Steve Nash may or may not be on the block if the Suns slip out of playoff contention. So the Knicks are getting in line good and early.
The New York Daily News reports that a Knicks source indicates they “will make an inquiry.” Whether that means a phone call, a fruit basket, or a gigantic blimp that reads “We’ll give you whatever you want! Love, The Knicks” is unclear at this time. Alvin Gentry definitely isn’t on board with moving Nash, and for known business-oriented owner Robert Sarver, moving Nash would mean a big drop in ticket sales, jersey sales, and everything-else sales. It doesn’t make much sense to move him until you’re absolutely ready to gut the team and start over. When that time comes, if that time comes, Nash does need to be the first to go, but you’ve got to make sure you’re absolutely ready to push that button before you do.
For the Knicks, they face the same problem they have with the Carmelo Anthony talks. What are they going to offer? They can give Felton, Anthony Randolph, Ronny Turiaf, Danilo Gallinari, Toney Douglas maybe, Wilson Chandler. Is there a combination of those guys you’d take for Steve Nash? The Knicks continue to face the same problem they’ve had all along. They can’t get a good player without sending picks along, and they sent their picks to Houston. The Knicks can inquire all they want, but it’s going to take two to tango.
what a friggin idiot
I would even throw in toney douglas to get that deal done
LOL @ D'Antoni realizing that Nash is the one made Amare a superstar. Without the easy dunks Amare has been brought back down to earth. He's in Al Jefferson's league as a player without Nash passing him the ball.
Knicks will push hard for this.
Anthony will sign in the summer (or Denver trades him at the deadline to the Knicks) and they got Nash-Carmella-Amare. They wont take on crappy contracts and 2012 Nash expire and they sign Paul over capspace.
Felton -> Nash -> Paul
Imagine if they could somehow score both Nash AND Melo? Nash-Melo-Amare in the East...not bad. Highly unlikely, but still fun to think about.
