If we apply your style of thinking for the functions of this forum, it'd be a in boring ass place. Especially during the regular season. This is a hot new topic, what do you want everybody to do? Ignore it because it's not professional/ethical to jump to conclusions, speculate, and talk about this topic and how it may play out? When we give our opinions, most of us acknowledge the fact that we are speculating, or we/I imply it because some of us would like to imagine we are conversing with people who are intelligent enough to already understand the context that we're in.


I don't know, should we just close this thread and talk about tonight's game? Here I'll start: I hope the Spurs win tonight guys because it'd be great for the team to continue their success this season and in the standings. It'd be great to capitalize on the relatively easy opening schedule so there is less pressure for the team to grind out more wins before the playoffs begin. Do you also hope the Spurs will win? How do you think Parker will do in containing Rose? Me? I'm not too sure, but I guess we'll find out soon!!! And regardless of whether he does d oa good job or not, it's not going to affect my life in the slightest!!!

Because you have to understand the context... I KNOW that Tony is just a basketball player and I still want him to do well for the Spurs. You know, the Spurs are my first concern in this debate as well. And, in this case, with the rumors that were spread, it had the potential to affect team chemistry. Either it was with Brent's wife, or the wife of a current player...rumors were rumors but either of those two scenarios clearly could have an effect on this team. And while it may not have any effect at all, if it affects the spurs in a negative way then yeah I will be concerned because this is likely the last year the Spurs have for winning another one with the big 3. I love this team and I'd love it if they win it this year, and I don't think it's outrageously impossible.

Also, the fact that Tony, one of the most important players on my favorite team, any sport, would do something like this to an ex-teammate and great San Antonio resident, a player that helped Tony and the rest of the Spurs win some rings...it's pretty damn low, nevermind the fact that he's cheating in the first place on a woman with kids.
