LOL. Although I do tend to agree that the cheating part is unnecessary and perhaps divorcing first would have been more ideal, we dont live in a perfect world. By so heavily disagreeing with this whole situation you prove that you live in a world of fantasy and idealism. This happens whether you like it or not, however, you are by no means forced to face the harsh reality of the world we live in.

Different girls have different opinions on what is too controlling, and what isn't. There's some girls out there that freak out when you are sincerely concerned that she may be behaving rather inappropriately... I've been in this type of relationship. So, in those cases it can be hard to draw the line because they see almost anything as too controlling.

Because I define cheating as his , hands, or mouth physically involved with another person.

Which is not to say I'd be ok with my husband sexting another woman. I wouldn't be. It would be a violation of my trust. It would be hurtful. If it were a long-term thing, and an emotional affair, it would quite possibly fall across my boundaries into divorce-able offense.

But it's not entirely the same thing to me as my husband ing another woman. If it is to someone else, that's cool. That's their relationship and their business.

That's all.

ETA - There are just a lot of factors for me. If my husband were drunk and kissed another woman, that would be different than a long-term sexting thing. I'd feel a lot more violated over the sexting. I'm sure someone will say I'm arguing semantics, but it's just how it works out in my head.

It's sad that someone had their feelings hurt----but nobody really knows what happened, what led up to what, who is a or who is a saint, except for the 4 parties involved. It's just odd to me that people here are making judgements either way, because for the smidge of information that has been fed to us, there is no doubt an enormous amount of information that we will never be privy to. I'm sorry for the pain the involved parties may be feeling, but I seriously doubt anyone's life or career has been ruined. Nothing that I have heard over the last 2 days has changed my feelings about any of the parties involved in any way. I hope they all recover as quickly as possible and carry on.
