Regular season doesn't matter for the Lakers. They're still going to be favorites in the playoffs. They don't have to prove themselves in the regular season.
sons this team hasn't beaten anyone worth a damn and LOL at their next 16 games. They only have ONE legit challenge (Utah) and of course the NBA made sure to give them a full 2 days rest beforehand. The Lakers should easily win at least 14 out of their next 16 games with a cakewalk like this ...

sons its not the Lakers fault. I respect that team for what they have accomplished and the calls they have received .... however I think even the Clippers could play the Lakers next 16 games and finish AT LEAST 10-6 ...
I disagree, I can see them winning EVERY single game, they're just that good.
It's not a question of talent, but apathy.
Regular season matters when it comes to seedings. Seedings are crucial considering there hasn't been a team to win the le that has not been a top 3 team since '95 rockets did it as the 6th seed. The Lakers need to clinch one of the top 2 seeds in the west and having this cupcake schedule gives them very good chance of doing it.

son even good teams like the Lakers will get bored with 16 bull games in a row ... that's like telling the New York Yankees to go play the Kansas City Royals 16 times ... they will get bored and lose more than they should.
Well the Lakers had one of the toughest schedules if not the toughest last year. It evens out. tbh
pretty much...I honestly would prefer the starters not play more than 30 minutes in this stretch, and force Caracter and Ebanks to log some valuable time. Would make us deeper (and fresher) in the long run
I say go for the kill during this stretch so the Lakers have some nice capital.
But the last thing they need is to burn out in December so maybe just play enough to win

Those next 3 games for the Lakers wont be cakewalks thats for sure. The Warriors always play the Lakers tough, Chicago will be on a little high after winning in Dallas tonight, and playing at Utah is never easy...

It's not the Lakers' fault they get to stay at home more than almost every team in the league.
Kobe is the only clear cut Hall of Famer on this Lakers squad.
