I'm pretty sure the Spurs didn't do anything. They weren't that kind of team and didn't really have an enforcer that would lay a player out in retaliation.
How the did he kick him? I know how Bruce did it, he got a running start and got all Bruce Lee.
I also remember when Shaq came up to Robinson and elbowed him in the back or at least I remmeber it being an elbow but it could have been a push, it's been so long. I was so pissed I almost lost my TV that day. Hey, I was alot younger then.

Growing up as a kid I ing hated the Utah Jazz more than any other team, mainly because of Malone. He was such a dirty ass POS. I was always so pissed that they knocked us out year after year in the Playoffs. I'm glad Jordan stuck it to him 2 years in a row and the asshole left the game ringless..

Game four of the WCSF 1999 - shaq came behind DRob and elbowed him in the back. Dave turned around and hit him [more like a push] in the chest and Shaq got lazy eye. End of story.

I really don't understand how the league let Malone get away with what they did for so long. He assaulted three players, DRob, Isaiah, and Donyell Marshall, and they all wound up in the hospital; DRob with his concussion, Isaiah with about 50-60 stiches inside and out, and Marshall with broken ribs.
I dont think Malone set out to hurt guys, DR included. He was always a hardass and I would have loved to have had him on our team.
I would only watch the spurs when I was growing up and I remember exactly where I was and how I felt when Robinson got knocked out by that piece of .
