I hate Malone for life and not just because of that, he played for the Jazz and Lakers and thats enough for me. I hated the Jazz in the 90's.
Who was it that threw something dirty at Avery back in the day? He then went out of character and like rushed at the person. I want to say Nash, but I'm not sure. I remember Avery's post conference where he said something like "I will not be manhandled". Anyone find a reference for this?

I remember he and Van Exel (Lakers) got into it at the Dome.
I still remember 99 playoffs when Brian Grant stepped up to Malone and he was scared to death lol, he was shook.
Well isn't it poetic justice that a Spur very quickly replaced him in the discussion of best power forward of all time? KM is a dirty, pedo piece of .
My most fond early memory of the Duncan years is how Tim just totally shifted the Jazz from our nemisis to a team we owned.
David Robinson will always be my favorite professional athlete. After seeing that dirty SOB Karl get away with so much crap against David for all those years, there was nothing as rewarding as seeing Tim Duncan just own him.
Even in '98, when the Jazz knocked us out of the playoffs in five, you could already see Malone couldnt handle Tim. Duncan was bigger, quicker, more fundamentally sound, and didn't let Karl's dirty play fluster him in the slightest. Karl pulled the same crap against Tim that he had on the Spurs for years. Tim would just stay stoic, and put up 30+ points on him. Until last year, the Jazz were never really an issue again.
I already hated the Jazz. But after that, my hate for Malone went to another level.
After watching us get 4 les and Robinson retiring with his second one, watching Malone ride his brokeback horse into the sunset with no rings, I can honestly say some of my hate for him has turned into pitty, which for a guy like that might be a bigger slap in the face.
It's gotta be tough to praise yourself too much in your HOF induction speech Malone, knowing you never got it done!
Thanks, forgot about being rick rolled...

malone totally fizzled out in the two finals he was in while being regular season mvp, and jordan made him his , still
That carried over to the 2000 playoffs as well. Brian Grant was the only player I've ever seen that could intimidate Malone in the paint and throw his game off.
I respectfully disagree. Try to "accidentally" swing your elbow to hit a guy 4 inches taller than you in the temple hard enough to knock him out. You can't do it casually or inadvertantly. The Isaiah thing was on purpose, too. The bad blood between MJ and Isaiah led to him not being selected for the Dream Team and Stockton being selected instead. Zeke went out and lit his ass up for 40+, and the next time out, Malone clocked him for embarrassing his little butt buddy.
Can you imagine if BRUCE BOWEN would have been built like Karl Malone, the damage he could have done!

It was Nash. IIRC, it was in the first round of the 97-98 playoffs against Phoenix. Nash was a nobody back then.
None at all, troll, none at all. Bruce played D either with his hands down at his sides to show he wasn't shoving, or extended straight up.
The Spurs have the best record in the league, Duncan just overtook two team records, our offense looks the best it has in years...and you want to watch D-Rob get knocked out by Malone? Okay.
This!
It's disturbing how my hatred for this hideous little team has softened in the past 10 years.
