Blake Griffin's opponent did the same thing...but atleast kobe put his on Howards mouth and touched the rim.
Ya, It' hard to dunk one someone standing on the ground with their hands up.![]()

The second dunk was greatness, Griffin is gunna be a great player. But he needs to leave the Clippers organization if he really wants to do something with his career.
Holy . I prefer the second one but the first is ungodly as well.
That was a compliment to him and a diss to his team if it wasn't evident enough son
Yes, they lost but you have to give Griff props ...
He was in a funk and the Knicks was his medicine, his muse ...
Rondo, Love and now Griffin all put up historic video game numbers vs. NYK ... I don't think that is random ...
sons, i know about posters. welcome to the club gallinari
I agree the second one is really special
They may have lost, but it wasnt because Griffin wasn't trying.
According to Stoney, that 1st score did not cons ute a dunk...
See: Dwight Howard's 'Superman'.
I was thinking about his potential, and Greg Oden came to mind. Does anybody here think that if Griffin stays healthy, he'll be what everybody thought Oden was going to be?
why are people saying who cares? amazing ability and I am looking forward to watching him in the future.
Not really. They are two completely different players. IMO, Oden's upside was much better than Griffin's. Griffin is more of an Amare without the diverse offensive game (as of yet). He does not defend very well (he tries though) and he is not a shot changer.
Oden was most definitely an elite defender and was decent on the offensive end. He was very athletic (not Griffin level) and had some decent touch.
I think Oden's upside was more of a true franchise player than Blake. But Blake is very, very good.
Griffin needs to watch what has happened to Vince Carter's body..same with McDyess..
When you're going out and dunking on everybody all game, not pacing yourself, always going for the highlights, it's obviously great from a short-term perspective, but it takes a huge toll on your body later on..
Look at Vince right now, he can't attack the rim without pulling something..
I am not as impressed by the dunks as I am his ability to jump. That is freakin amazing. He gets to a point where I just expect him to start coming down, and it is like he jumps again from that place and keeps floating up. Like a double jump in a video game. Crazy. Oh, and the staring thing is stupid, but that is just me. If I play any game I don't start the talking until I've done something, then the flood gates open.
