HEB has a decent store brand root beer, even in diet, for a great price.

I like IBC the best though.

Barq's is the most distinct root beer I've tasted. Not the best, but I could pick Barq's out of a root beer lineup. It is quite good though, and I'd probably take that over A&W, although I like them both.
