NO...since... THE DECISION![]()
I didn't become a Spurs fan till 2005. Is there something wrong with that?
Really, I didn't watch sports at all prior to 2005.... except the 90s cowboys. I watched them play with my dad a lot. But it was Manu Ginobili that got me into sports all over again. I won't forget it either. 2005 playoffs, Ginobili scores 39 against the Sonics in game 4. Probably his best game ever.
Media coverage is really the last thing on my mind. As long as the Spurs keep winning, I couldn't care less about the coverage.
Without looking it up I can tell you that 17 game win streak was ended by Indiana.
doesn't make you a fan, just a basketball nerd.j/k
4-Letter network can be described with 4 letters...SUCK!
'96 may have been the last regular season 17 game SA win streak, but off the top of my head the last time the Spurs strung that many wins in a row was when they won the final 11 games of the 2003-2004 regular season, then swept the Pau Gasol-led Memphis Grizzlies in the first round, and notched a 2-0 lead against the lakers in the West Semis before the roof caved in.
If you are talking about the 1996 one, it was ended by phoenix.
looked it up, it WAS ended by phoenix on the second game of a home and home vs. them.
He said he could tell you that; he never said he would be correct.
Then we must go at least 15-1

Damn, I hate the Heat. All the hype is bull . ESPN never gives Spurs enough credit.
It's a shame. The networks have done such a thorough job of ignoring and tuning us out for ten years that they haven't seen how fun we are to watch this year.
Wow I remember that! We got reverse swept.
Although that was the Fisher .4 shot so we can put an asterisk on the Lakers 2004 le.
Lakers lost the le against the Pistons.
In their defense, they have made some changes. Check out this link -

A day or two ago, they were keeping track of the Lakers and Miami Heat to see if either can put up a comparable record to the legendary Bulls team of past.
Recently, they silently took off the Miami heat and replaced them with the Spurs.
We're not winning 72 games but nevertheless the mere fact that ESPN replaced the Heat with the Spurs says something. It's a subtle form of respect.
We've been fun to watch every year. It's all perception. People were calling us boring back in 2005 when we were running Phoenix out of the building and scoring 120 in a game in the playoffs.
You guys are high or re ed if you don't understand why the Heat are getting all this attention. They're teaming up a two time reigning MVP and someone in Wade who was one of the three best players in the League the last few years. Plus now they're melting down before our very eyes. Its interesting even to people who aren't fans of the Heat. It's by far the most actively talked about topic I see on various NBA message boards. Its not some conspiracy that no one non ESPN or national media message boards gives two s about this Spurs streak and starts 900 threads about the Heat, its the way things are, stop crying about it.
This fanbase is so annoying with this..
Laker fan has the le of the most insecure fan in baksetball..
Spurs fan has this le, right here..so many Spurs fans are absolutely obsessed with the media's relationship with the Spurs..there's a thread about this every week..who gives a ?..
you make it so ing hard to believe that
