Your out of your ing mind if you think Hill is the worst. Just because he is out of his groove doesn't mean he should be traded. Dumbass
There were high hopes for him after this Summer of training. Pop wanted him to be more of a leader. Obviously that hasn't happened yet. I'm not sure what's going on with Hill.
Blair came out of the gate awkwardly as well, stumbling from the higher expectation he put on himself. But at least Blair has an iden y as a player he revert to: rebounding. Whereas Blair is doing that and re-establishing his iden y on the court, Hill doesn't really have an iden y as a player. No go to moves except the corner 3, but that's kind of expected of him as a player in the Spur system.
Hill's inconsistency is becoming a constant. I agree that he can be very useful but his ceiling is getting lower and lower.
Hill has allways seemed to be a late bloomer so hopefully that will be the case again this season. I would not count him out just yet.
Calm down, George can play. Give him time.
There is one silver lining: all the dumbass "we don't need Tony, Hill can be our point guard" threads have gone into hibernation.
However, unless dumbasses have gone extinct, they'll be back.

Jeff McDonald
...Moved back to the bench and asked to provide the sort of reserve spark traditionally supplied by Manu Ginobili, Hill at first struggled to rediscover the feel-good groove with which he ended his breakout sop re campaign.
“I’m just starting to get my rhythm back,” Hill said. “Everything is starting to feel back to normal for me, the way it was last year.”
...Somewhere on the give-thanks list, perhaps overlooked, has been the recent re-emergence of a player who resembles last season’s George Hill.
“George played a lot of basketball for us last year,” Popovich said. “His situation is one of just trying to be aggressive all the time, not deferring to other people, realizing he’s a heck of a player in his own right. Hopefully, that’s what’s going on now.”
..."It’s a different mentality coming off the bench, most definitely,” said Hill, who is averaging 8.8 points and shooting 43.7 percent as a backup at both guard positions. “It’s taken me a while to figure out what my role is and what I can do to be effective out there.”
..."With all the wins, it’s been a fun season so far,” Hill said. “I’m just trying to figure out what’s my role and how can I help this team win ballgames.”
That's a great article.
So he's worse than Ime Udoka?
