Hornets get better, Spurs get worse. No doubt about it. Parker can still attack a defense while Paul basically just gets assists at this point.
Take the two talented point guards and put them on each other's teams. Tony on the -nets and Paul on the Spurs. What happens to the teams? Do they get better or worse? Do the results of what you conclude mean that one PG is better than the other? Go!!!!

What went wrong?![]()
Really? Even though Paul is averaging over 16ppg he only gets assists?
He was averaging over 20 pts per game before his injuries so yeah at this point he can really just collect assists, steals and make some FTs and wide open jump shots. Can't shoot off the dribble anymore and can't blow by defenders consistently as he used to. Luckily tonight, Andre Miller is some slow , but quicker guys have given him trouble. This is the first time in years where West is the leading scorer.
A healthy CP3 > Parker. Im not sure Paul is 100% though.. we will see on Sunday.
oh yes son we will ... we will ing see alright
Manu will have to match Bellinelli for the Spurs to have any chance.
It's a shame Peja still isn't with the Hornets or Tony Parker would LOVE this trade....

Marco may be intimidated since he's supposed to be the next Manu. Too much pressure for Marco IMO. Manu will have a big mental edge.
son all he needs to do is watch Rocky IV and he will be fine
Rocky IV is must-see for Marco.
If I can change, and you can change. Everyone can change!
Hmm? He's supposed to be the next Ginobili?
Son he's already way better than that bald-headed has-been -
CP3 > Parker
Belinelli > Ginobili
West > Duncan
Looks like a blowout on paper imo. I'd be shocked if you guys don't win by 40.
Ultimately I think they are 2 different styles of players. Their current teams are tailor fitted for thier respective talents. I think SA gets better and NO not so much. Simply because of TP's style of play. NO needs a PG like Paul that can set everyone else up. SA doesn't need that type as much. They need it but not as dependant on it. TP is a slightly more "score-first" type of PG.
You left out Ariza > Jefferson
Okafor > Blair
Monty > Pop
Demps > Buford
Jack > Hill
Mbenga > McDyess
French Quarter > Riverwalk
Cajuns > Mexicans
Don't forget about 4 > 0.
Hornets sure had a strong run in the 2000s. 4 championships. I tip my hat to them.
Manu is probably the most underrated and taken for granted player in the league. (See his first qtr against the Mavs) He will abuse whoever the Hornets put on him including Ariza.
Manu is the key. Hornets slow him down, they neutralize the only real advantage the Spurs have.
Manu is old news. It's all about Marco now.
No.
Yes.
No.
Maybe.
Maybe.
Nah.
Definitely.
I'm part creole so i'm partial to cajuns.
Wait!!! You don't like King Paul?!?!![]()
Parker actually, even though Paul is way better at his peak. Mainly just for Paul's meniscus issue, which is going to shorten his career.
